"No pressure approach."

I am not typically one to write reviews, but I must say that Bill Wood really went out of his way to help our company.  He walked us through all of our security needs and laid everything out in a simple way that was easy to understand.  He made several recommendations for our current security, and offered a no pressure approach to helping us.  I would recommend this guy to anyone  who wants to protect their assets and needs help from a pro!  Great job Bill!

"Great Experience!" 

We just had an alarm system installed in our house and I need to say that it was done very quickly and efficiently. Our local ADT representative, Otis Jackson, visited our house and explained all the features and options in details. He was punctual, professional, friendly, and very knowledgeable about the system and the service. The installer, Daniel, was on time and professional. There were some issues with electrical outlets locations in my home, but he was able to get everything installed correctly on the first visit. I would highly recommended the company and both of these men to everyone.

We had just bought a house and knew we needed some kind of security system.  We contacted ADT and were able to get a hold of one of their reps, Lance Quevillon, who is also their District Manager. He came to our home and discussed every option to us. He was very polite and didn't pressure us into anything that we didn't need.  It was an overall great experience and we are happy to have chosen them. We will definitely be recommending Lance/ADT to anyone who needs a security system.

We recently had an ADT Alarm system installed in our home.  Our sales rep, Dorelle and installer, Larrywere very helpful, professional, patient and sensitive to our needs.  Prior to buying an alarm system,Dorelle showed us in detail all of our options.  We have the ADT pulse system, which we really like. Dorelle helped us set up our home view for the pulse application.  Our system was installed by Larry the next day.  Dorelle also stopped by during the installation.  After the installation, I had some questions, I called Dorelle, and she stopped by to help me. I would recommend the company without hesitation.

"All in all it was a great experience."

I just had my system installed today and I must say I am very impressed! This is my first home security system so I didn't know a lot going into it, but my sales rep Joe Abeyta did a great job explaining all the options; a lot of which I had no idea could be tied into an alarm system. With all the crimes I see in the news these days I finally decided I didn't want to be one of the people who was burglarized BEFORE deciding to protect my family. Joe went through all the options with me and made some great recommendations. I liked that I didn't feel like I was being sold on anything, but more just being informed on available options while he recommended what really seemed to be the best fit for me. I decided to go with it and he was able to schedule my installation for just a few days later, with a time slot that worked well with my busy schedule which was impressive. The day of the installation I received a call from both my sales rep to let me know who my installer was and to expect a call from him. Pat(the installer) called before his arrival window and gave me an arrival time which he then beat by about 3 minutes which was nice as I really got the feeling that he valued my time. He was very professional and really respected my home with things like asking about the cats being indoor only so as not to let them out, wearing shoe coverings, and keeping a clean work space. He looked and acted professional and I felt very comfortable having him in my home. Once he finished installing everything he walked me through how it all worked which the sales rep had also done and everything was shown and explained exactly the same which was great because it already felt familiar. All in all it was a great experience, and was also a lot more affordable than I would have thought. I will sleep well tonight knowing my family and my home are protected. Well done California Security Pro!

"BEST in the industry."

A few weeks ago my parents approached me because they were concerned with the overall safety in their community lately. They asked if I had any good recommendations for a good home alarm service organization. For me, it was a no brainier. I told them to contact the BEST in the industry. I referred them to Leo Sabado at ADT! Leo did an amazing job addressing their concerns and needs. He never tried up selling them on additional products and services that they didn't need, but catered a system for them that met their needs and was financially sound. Thanks Leo! "This helped cause community awareness in our neighborhood."

Danny Tresierras was great! He was very professional and listened to our needs and suggested the best way to protect our home and family. Within days of installing the system my husband and I saw in our front door cameras 2 strangers walk onto our private  property. We had access to this right away on our phones. I shared the video from the security system with the neighbors, the local police and social media sites. This helped cause community awareness in our neighborhood. I have referred Danny to my neighbors, friends and family and highly suggest you get this system and deal with Danny! Safety is number 1 and so is Danny and team at ADT.

"Very profressional, extremely pleased with the ADT-Pulse app."

To be frank, we were super leery about utilizing an ADT security system after reviewing many internet comments. We had a utilized a fantastic hard-wired system from a great boutique security company in our previous home, but the installation was easily over $1k  higher than the ADT system than the California Security Pro recommended. Financial considerations prevailed. Grant Fecher was the very profressional sales representative that arrived for his appointment on time and offered us good solid advice without the "hard-sell."  He reviewed the many technical options and pricing tiers clearly and precisely. Our technician Daniel Zartner was also extremely professional, efficient, and friendly. The installation went smoothly without a hitch, and the system integrated with the home without any glaring design obtrusions/obstructions. The California Security Pro team followed through several times after the installation to make sure we were happy. Lastly, we are extremely pleased with the ADT-Pulse app. You get to design your home layout and monitor every access point via your mobile device.  Highly recommended.

"Whole process very easy and smooth."

I recently purchased an alarm system for my house in which I've been living for a year. My wife and I wanted an alarm system just to make sure that our home would be safe while we are both at work. When I was growing up in the Bay Area, my home had been broken into and although only trivial things were stolen, the feeling that someone had been in my home, had gone through all of my things, was not one that I would want again. I looked at several different alarm companies, and none of them compared to the service provided by ADT. Brandon Tomas came highly recommended from a friend. From our first call where Brandon was easy to get a hold of, prompt on his follow up, came right on time to our first meeting, was flexible on meeting time, he was extremely knowledgeable about the different options and was very willing to accommodate our needs. Brandon made the whole process very easy and smooth. He explained everything clearly and is one of the nicest customer service oriented salesman I've met. Brandon got our set up appointment scheduled quickly and our technician, Pat, did a great job setting everything up. Pat set up the alarm system, and showed us how to use it all in about 45 minutes. Working with Brandon and ADT was a great experience. Having a phone app where I can monitor my alarm is great. Having the alarm system keeps my home safe, and has also saved me about $45 a month on my home insurance, so I almost pay nothing for the alarm system. Thanks Brandon and ADT for such a great experience!

"Outstanding ratings."

Moved here from the east coast and required a security system consult and installation. Was very skeptical about the outstanding ratings accorded to  Brandon and Carl via Yelp! After my research I decided to talk with Brandon and was both impressed and surprised. Brandon is professional, knowledgeable and informative therefore I decided to go with California Security Pro. Another pleasant surprise at installation, Carl is just as professional, knowledgeable and informative. Both lived up to their time commitments, we're very efficient  and made sure we were comfortable  with the system. Have not had any experience with the monitoring group as yet, but have to believe that will be as positive as well.

I recently got ADT. It's great! I highly recommend this pulse system with camera. Jonathan Delgado was a great rep! He is very detailed and he walked us through the process. He helped me sign up for a pulse  system without delay and when I had to make a last-minute change to the pulse system with the camera, on the day of the installation, he made sure that I was happy and was delivered the system that I really wanted. We're loving the new system!! I'd like to commend Jon Delgado & Kyle from San Ramon, for doing a tremendous job helping my parents understand the importance and urgency of having an alarm system installed in their home.  Especially after hearing about the increasing burglary and crime rates occurring around my neighborhood, we figured it was time to finally get one. Kyle did an awesome job putting my parents into perspective by playing out all the possible life-threatening scenarios that go on in an intruder's mind while rationalizing the location for each sensor specifically placed according to the layout of the house. Jon was very professional and thorough in familiarizing my family on the pulse system. He was also very approachable and listened to any concerns and answered all questions regarding each payment plan. I had a great experience working with this company to get my ADT security system installation. Grant Fecher helped me and my wife through the whole process and was as professional as it gets. He helped us decided where we would place our security cameras and informed us about the ADT thermostat that we now use every day. We don't know how we ever lived without it. "The best experience I've had with any handyman or service provider."

Fish and Micah were wonderful. Fish was fast and made the process of ordering the installation and filling out the paperwork as painless as possible. The website is easy to navigate so I  knew exactly the system I wanted before he'd even arrived and he never tired to up-sell me. Micah arrived exactly on time to install the system, he explained the in's and out of the system and patiently taught me how to use all of the functions. 

These guys were friendly, fast, and thoughtful. The best experience I've had with any handyman or service provider.

"It's been more then a month and I'm happy with my alarm."

Leo was great first time with ADT he was open to all our questions he sit down on our time very flexible he not only met me once but twice first to welcome me to the neighborhood and to offer help bringing in the groceries that my wife was bringing in. "Installation and setup was explained with such an ease, best service."

The best service I got from ADT. I called up Ryan in the morning and I got such a positive response from him, he setup a meeting time and showed up right on time. Everything about the alarm installation and setup was explained with such an ease. Anyone installing new alarm please ask for Ryan he is the man. Thanks a lot Ryan.

Just got the ADT pulse system installed for my home.  Kyle Madison is the man for excellent and reliable service ~ arrived on time, explained everything thoroughly which is important for my senior folks who aren't tech savvy, but reassured them even they could handle and benefit from the security system.  Kyle also gave me additional tips on how to secure the home even more so, since the burglars are always coming up with new methods.  I find myself sleeping better with all the door and motion sensors installed and having the ADT signage visible for people scoping out the neighborhood. 

Larry (installer) also did a great job!  Will definitely recommend these guys to all my friends, so they can be armed with a home security system.  We all have alarms in our cars, so why not have it in the place we sleep in?

So we were naturally very careful about the next company we chose to do business with.We couldn't be more pleased. Kyle Madison, the District Manger, came by on a Thursday and patiently walked us through our alternatives. He arranged for Pat Amatroneto do the installation the following Monday and the installation went smoothly. Pat did a great job of making sure the equipment was exactly as we wanted and walked us through both the online and app versions of the software. We have been using the system without issue for a couple of weeks now and couldn't be more satisfied.

It is rare that you come across such amazing customer service.  Fish was our sales rep and he was a pleasure to work with.  No pushing trying to sell me more than I needed and he was so patient with me, answering all of my follow up questions.  The installer, Carl, could not have been more helpful and responsive, he even cleaned up a huge mess of wiring when he uninstalled the old alarm, something that he really didn't have to do in order to get the new alarm working.  Honestly, we just moved and I've had tonnes of service people to the house and Fish and Carl are simply the best.

Just had a great meeting with Grant Fecher from ADT.  My partner and I are shopping around for a new security system for our home in Claremont, Ca and was really amazed with ADT's pricing and new features.  I had ADT years ago and remember them as being good but I still wanted to "shop around" for the best price so we called 4 different companies.  ADT was the only one that showed up on time and wasn't trying to push me into buying extra gadgets or features I didn't want. In fact, I keep trying to add on different features to my ADT package and Grant showed me how I could do the same thing be in a cheaper way.  I also really appreciated that Grant didn't cut down his competition, unlike the other companies I spoke with.  In the end I decided to go with ADT because they had the best service, price and I got the most features for my budget. "Very pleased with the performance."

I wanted an alarm for my place in Rohnert Park. During my research I found two competing security systems, ADT and FrontPoint Security Systems. I really looked at the pluses and minuses between these two systems, both highly rated by consumer and professional reviews. The difference was really Bill Woods from California Security Pro ADT Authorized Dealer from the NAPA office. Mr. Woods met me at my new place and we discussed just what system was needed to secure my home. He did not try to sell me extra stuff that I really did not need. He was straight up and frank about what a good security system should have. Front Point's selling points were very compelling, Bill recognized that. He was able to work with me and came through with what I deemed a very competitive package for a very good system from ADT. Bill convinced me that the new ADT Pulse system was a cut above the competitors plus the company is a security company first and foremost, hence their expertise is on security. I also liked the fact that a professional installer will be installing my system. I know I can install a do it yourself kit but at the end of the day, I really wanted a pro to set the entire system up from the ground up. Jesse, the ADT installer, was on time. He was very thorough and completed installing the system at the scheduled time. He took the time to make sure that the system layout was what I wanted before he proceeded with the installation. Once completed, he really took the time to explain everything, very patient. He made sure that everything was put away, leaving the place clean, no messy installation. Bill made sure that the system was up and running flawlessly from follow up phone calls. It's been over a month since my ADT system was installed and I've been very pleased with the performance so far. The mobile application works as designed. I can manage my system remotely and friends are quite amazed with its capabilities.

I did alot of research before going with this dealer and ADT.  We had a close call and caught a potential break in at our home in the act in the middle of the night.  SCARY STUFF! I couldn't get a security system in quick enough.  After making alot of calls to some of the top rated services, this dealer had the best reviews.  I called and Angel Rodriguez came the next day for our consult.  He was professional and pleasant. Most of all he didn't try to up-sell me.  In fact when I wanted the gammant of every security measure out there he logically talked me into a smaller package that gave me the same sense of security without the overkill approach I wanted to take.  Daniel Zartner came a couple of days later to do the install. He was swift and informative.  He made sure I was very comfortable with the system, placement, how to use it. etc.  I can't speak highly enough about Angel and Daniel.  If you use this dealer, request both of them.  They were top notch and I have slept with a peace of mind that my house and my family are safe and secure. We love our system.  I have zero regrets and it was installed two months ago and we use the system multiple times a day/everyday. I especially love my ADT impulse app.  I can arm and disarm the system remotely 24/7.  I can see who is turning it on and off and how frequently.  It's been a great investment.

All I can say is I am very happy with the service from beginning to end.  I called California Security Pro because they were an authorized ADT dealer. When I called, I asked if it was possible to set up an appointment the same day and, honestly, I thought it wasn't going to happen but gave it a shot because I had a bit of time that day and needed a security system.  The lady at the office was so friendly and got me an appointment the same day. I met with Joe Abeyta for a consult at the home and he was very knowledgeable about how best to secure the home. Then Joe was able to even get an installer to put in the system the SAME DAY!!!!!. Talk about great service with the customer's needs in mind. Then the installer, Pat, showed up shortly. He was very professional and set up all the equipment. After the install I received follow up from Joe and then further follow up from Yvette at the office. I was so please with the service I had security systems installed at 2 more homes.   Again, Joe, was very helpful.  Thought it was going to be same installer but turned out different installers did these 2 homes.  Larry did a great job on the 2nd, and Hector did a great job as well on the 3rd home.  Seems this office has a full staff of very dedicated and experience people ready to exceed customer's expectations

"I had the great fortune of being referred to California Security Pro ."

I started the process of upgrading my 23-year-old hard-wired home alarm system with maximum trepidation. The house situated in the Oakland Hills is fairly large with wrap-around decks and frankly a nightmare to provide maximum security. The company that did the initial instillation 23 years ago concurred: Despite multiple phone calls, they failed to send someone for an upgrade review and never followed up with my phone calls. I had the great fortune of being referred to California Security Pro by my State Farm insurance agent. My good fortune continued with meeting up with the East Bay business manager, Fish Araya. This gentleman promptly returned my phone call, set up a home inspection within 48 hours. He was punctual, courteous, professional, and efficient. We were able to put together a system that piggy-backed on my hard-wired system and added 3 cameras for 24 -hour, motion triggered and real-time PRN monitoring. The 24-hour monitoring is provide by ADT, the national company. The best is yet to come. When I had concerns about the initial installation plan, Fish showed up with the installer who did a bang-up job. The installer, named Carl, was quiet, extremely knowledgeable,  courteous and went the extra mile: he swapped my old motion detectors for cameras (wiring was still in place), set up wireless motion detectors all over the house, placed an additional window sensor in a crucial location (the wireless pulse technology allows you to add  multiple devices through a home wi-fi system) and connect all this to the internet for remote monitoring. Carl also did some rewiring of my crawl space (under less than idyllic conditions, I might add) connect the alarm box to the netgear modem/router. As if this were not enough, he reprogrammed all 30 old and new stations (including fire sensors) and took the time to show me how I could monitor my system on the web through my computer or app for my phone. Everything is working perfectly.Bravo Fish and Carl. You are the best. Also kudos to California Security Pro and ADT. One last thing: Fish provides fabulous post installation service! Joe Abeyta came to my house to present us the ADT information, but my husband wasn't home at the time. Joe wasn't pushy to sell me the product, he was very understanding that I wanted my husband home to hear about the services also. He very kindly worked with our schedule to come back the following day to sit down with us and talk about the company, products and different services that are offered. He was very knowledgeable and thorough. He recommended some things and didn't recommend others based on the needs that our family was looking for. Getting signed up was a very simple process, and in just a few days our installer was at our house!! Rene came to install our system. He was very professional while in our home. He took his time to be sure that everything was done the correct way the first time!!! We have a lot of doors and windows, so it took some time, but he never complained and was very nice while here.  After installing everything, he gave us an overview of the system, and got us logged on with the apps for our phones. He made it very easy to understand!!! Joe came back the following day to review the entire system, everything online, our account, our apps, and follow up with any questions that we had! The other Yelp reviews don't lie. This company really is willing to do whatever it takes to get you the right service to match your budget/needs. From the person who answered the phone, the rep Kyle, to the installer, I felt like they wanted to get me exactly what I wanted. I had contacted two other companies that I was familiar with. What a waste of time. I was looking for a system for my client and possibly my own home. The other companies seemed confused by taking two orders at once. Not only that, it would take up to three weeks to get the systems installed. Cal Sec Pro offered to get BOTH jobs done within 3-5 days. Price was much lower than the competition. I've called them 8/13/2014 I talked to JARRETT, MCALLISTER and told him  that I want to put a Security alarm system in my house today, cause last night our house had been burglarized. he response quickly "he told me ok I will put an urgent so that they will come and install today sure enough the installer came his name is HECTOR CABALLERO his good and excellent customer service he explain to us about how the system works and not only that his so friendly to us. we feel safe the same day after the system works. and its awesome that you can set your alarm system through your cellphone anywhere you go as long as you have a signal. "I am very pleased with my ADT system for my home in Napa."

I called ADT (California Security Pro) for our home in Napa - very reluctantly due to my prior interactions with ADT (corporate) in the East Bay.  But I disliked my experience with Comcast's home security service even more than I disliked ADT, so I took a leap of faith.  And then I met Bill. Bill is prepared, knowledgeable, honest, and trustworthy.  His no-haggling approach to the cost was refreshing.  I normally will take many days to think about my decision but with Bill, I knew right on the spot I would do business with him.  He did not have "scope creep" and only recommended what was really necessary for my security needs.  He was able to schedule my install within days.  He was very good about setting my expectations about how much time the install would take given the 1) nature of my house and 2) the extent of the equipment I ordered. The install of the ADT system was flawless!  It was lengthy, but Bill warned me it would be.  On a side note, on my home in the East Bay, Comcast came out 3 times for the install and was never even able to get started.  And ADT (corporate) in the East Bay quoted me 4x the cost for a home security install, even though we were working with a VP at the company. I am very pleased with my ADT system for my home in Napa. I use my iPad daily to monitor activity and I also use it to occasionally admit people into my home. I was so happy with Bill's customer service that I recommended him to my immediate neighbor and she had her system installed last week.  How is that for an NPS (net promoter) score!

These guys were awesome! We just moved into a new house and wanted to get a system installed before I left the following week traveling for work. I got in touch with Kyle and he came out the same day to walk through the house and discuss our needs. He wasn't pushy to go with the highest level of service, more sensors or anything else like that. He made sure we were comfortable with what we were getting and was great to deal with. Micah came out 2 days later to do the installation. He showed up earlier than the window they gave us and it only took him about an hour to do the entire installation. The install was very clean and he did an awesome job hiding the wires. He then walked my wife and I through everything we needed to know about the system including setting up the page online and the app on our phones. He gave us his contact info in case anything came up after.

Trying to work through the differences across home security systems is painful and you always feel like you are getting ripped off - but these guys made it as pleasant as possible. Lance came out on a weekend to walk us through the ADT system. Jarrett called and sold us on their capabilities. He was super responsive via text and got us scheduled on time. Shortly there after we had Carl come over for the installation. Doug from ADT's wireless partner company i-Control came over to make sure everything went smoothly with the installation. It was great they took the extra effort to have him join. "These guys are great, we feel extremely secure, Ca Security Pro are incredibly." 

Kyle (district manager) came to our house the day after we had a forced-entry burglary and set us up with a great security system. Hector and Carl were our installers, and they couldn't have been better. There was a problem during the installation with connection to our wireless computer system, but the problem turned out to be on our end (our AT&T dsl internet was very spotty and slow). We immediately bought a new cable modem for our wireless system, and switched over to Comcast cable internet, which solved the problem. Meanwhile, Hector patiently worked with me to try to solve the issue, eventually having to come back a second day to install the cameras. Bottom line: these guys are great. But if you're planning on getting a wireless Pulse system (which we love!) with cameras that feed through to your cell phone, make sure you have a strong, uninterrupted wireless internet connection (cable yes, AT&T no). Between the Pulse system and new security doors, we feel extremely secure. Ca Security Pro are incredibly knowledgeable and professional people, and they did a great job for us.

We just had our ADT security system installed about a week ago and everything works great. Our sales representative was Grant who explained the different packages they have to offer. We informed him what kind of security system we were interested in and he was able to suggests different types of systems and what was included with the system. The cost of the system we decided on was a reasonable price and he was very professional. Later that week, Daniel came by to install the system.  Another polite and professional person who took his time to answer any questions, correctly install the system, make sure the system was working properly, and taught us how to use the system before he left.  He was able to use the existing system that was not active and made sure all the sensors and motion detectors were working before installing the new system.  We mentioned that one motion detector was giving us problems and he changed it with no additional costs.  The system works great and now feel comfortable that our home is protected whether we are there or not. Since the install, customer service for both Grant and Daniel have been great.  We've called them a couple times with follow up questions and they both were available to answer them.  We are glad to know that they are only a phone call away if we need them. I would highly recommend this company.

My alarm system company of almost 3 years gave me two weeks notice to buy a new equipment to upgrade from 2G to 3G.  It was an extremely unattractive deal so I went shopping for new alarm service provider. I contacted ADT and they returned my call promptly.  The visit by Rocky, the regional manager, was very professionally conducted. I had little need to upgrade my system or buy extra stuff as everything I had was  less than 3 yr old. Rocky did not push hard on selling me extras which I had expected from an alarm service provider. He did try to tell me something the installer had to check out so as to justify the installation fee. I felt it was a bit of a manufactured excuse but I let it pass as he had to earn his fees. (The installer did not even know anything special that he had to check because everything was working well.) To make thing complicated, I actually needed the installer to install something extra after Rocky left. I appreciated the fact that Rocky did not charge me an arm and a leg for the extra.  Rene the installer was great. He stayed for a long time and did a great job.  Everything worked and was neat and clean after his work. I tried their online system. It is ok. I wish it is more "advanced" in many ways. Maybe we live in Silicon Valley so we have much higher expectation of what a system can do. I would recommend them for others looking for an alarm service provider.

"This is an amazing system."

I recently purchased my first house in San Leandro and Leo Sabado drove up a couple weeks after moving in on a Sunday afternoon. He introduced himself and what CSP had to offer as an ADT dealer. Since we had family over we asked if he could come back the next day as we really hadn't put much thought in to getting a system. He came back the next day in which we let him know that we still didn't get a chance to talk about it but would and get back to him first thing the next morning which would be Wednesday. In turn we deciding to make the decision to see his presentation and get a system installed. He addressed every question we had in regards to the system and costs as well as any concerns. This is an amazing system and so much more advanced and easy to use than the one I grew up with. Thursday evening Leo went above and beyond not only coming over on his birthday but also ordering us pizza from one of his favorite spots since we are new to the area but getting us scheduled for our install that very Saturday. He made it clear that we could call him for anything no matter how silly the question or if we had any problems. Saturday rolled around our install guy was great! He helped me in making the decision for the best place for us to put our panel as well as our fire alarm.  He made sure that everything was where we liked it and went through the whole routine of setting up the system not only for the house but online as well and getting our account website all set up.  He was done in just a few hours and I was able to move on with my normal weekend routine... which happened to be finishing painting.   This team was amazing  and I have since recommended Leo and CSP to my closest friends who after seeing our system didn't hesitate to give Leo a call to set up a meeting. I have since only had to call Leo for a question and he was prompt in answering as well as stopping by to assess my issue.  What great customer service!!!  Thank you to Leo and the whole CSP Team!

"They schedule around you."

I spent ages figuring out whether or not to go with a service (ADT, Bay, Comcast) or just buying and implementing my own equipment. Regardless, I wanted rock solid, reliable, cutting edge hardware and most of the stuff off the shelf didn't do it for me. ADT and Bay use Honeywell which is very reliable.  In the end, I ended up going with ADT and CSP via the positive reviews for Brandon and also because I really like the ADT Pulse app for my Iphone/web browser to turn on/ff alarm and check my motion activated porch cam. It was anything BUT your typical cable / phone / service call process. They schedule around you. Brandon is awesome. Didn't sell me anything I didn't need and it's comforting to have someone other than 1-800 ADT to help in the event issues arise.  I've been up and running for a month now. My address is also gimmicky and is sometimes considered Piedmont even though it's Oakland. Brandon also paid my $25 Oakland Police registration after it became apparent that it was needed (not needed in Piedmont). Can't say enough good things about Brandon.  Whatever they're paying him, it's probably not enough.  As far as the service, so far so good.

Having the peace of mind and security while u are at home or away is expected of any alarm system. However I did not expect such great customer service when Joffre Bolda rang our door bell. He was knowledgeable and friendly and made choosing California Security Pro so easy. Along with Joffre and Jesse our technician, the set up was flawless. Jesse even made suggestions that made the location of the sytem so much more pleasing than what i would've have done and regretted! This review is way overdue! We had our ADT system installed last August and have been totally satisfied with the equipment, our service rep, the installers, and any interactions with the "command center." Before contacting CA Security Pro, I read threw all the Yelp reviews and decided this was the dealer I wanted to work with. Our service rep, Joffre Bolda, was professional at all times and we never felt he tried to "up sell" to us. He returned any phone call messages promptly and I always felt he was trying his best. I was even more satisfied with my dealing with CA Security Pro when I discovered that my girlfriend who had the same ADT system installed with same number of contacts, during the same month of my installation paid exactly DOUBLE the price! She bought her system thru the national ADT contact. After she found out how ripped off she was, she called national ADT to complain and was told there was no price adjustment available. Caveat emptor!

He was knowledgeable, and gave me a customized  system that worked with our families lifestyle/traffic pattern,  and on top of that he worked within my budget.  On the day of install, Jesse arrived and was extremely helpful, he arrived on time and did not make me feel rushed with my questions throughout the process.  Jesse went beyond by offering additional suggestions  for use/operation of products; i.e. camera, exterior alarm, position/locations for optimum value. He left me his direct number "just in case"!  Several days later Brandon came by after our install as he had promised to follow up with us, we added an additional keypad at the front door, for convenience. We are 100% satisfied with California Security Pro, from start to finish Brandon and Jesse exceeded our expectations,  in a day when Customer Service usually means a call overseas. I  have already recommended Brandon to neighbors on "nextdoor.com" and several clients. We definitely feel safer, Monday night was our first night with the ARMED STAY!

Very pleased with California Security Pro.  Have considered getting a security system for a while, but didn't want to deal with shady security people.  Found lots of positive reviews for CASP so gave them a try. Paul Daly was my sales rep - very professional and friendly, easy to deal with.  Grew up in my area, which was nice.  Called ahead of appointment to confirm arrival time (rare these days). Carl was my installer - also very professional and friendly (and fast - only took about an hour).  Was a little behind from last appointment (30 minutes or so, as I recall), and the office also called and let me know that.  30 minutes wasn't a big deal at all, but rare that a company is so proactive to call ahead and let people know (novel idea!). My only issue was that the keypad was installed near the front door.  I spoke with Carl about where it should go and he suggested not facing the screen towards the door window because people could read it and see if it was armed or not.  So we agreed to place it near the door (in sight), but on a perpendicular wall where you couldn't read the screen through the window. Unfortunately, the first night when we set it and it was dark, I discovered that the armed light is red (unarmed light is green), so even though you couldn't read the screen through the door windows, you could definitely tell if it was armed or not by the color of the indicator lights (doesn't seem like a smart place to put it, now knowing that!).  I called to ask to have it moved and was told I'd have to pay an $85 service call fee.  Only after a few protests did they finally agree to send someone out to relocate it for free. Carl came back and relocated it with no issues. I'm happy with the location now, and the service (aside for the brief interaction about the $85 charge) has been great.

"Pulse app/portal is so cool and easy to use."

I recently had an ADT security system installed at my residence and I must say the whole process was a quick and pleasant experience. I called their hotline to set up a free consultation and Jason their local rep came by the very next day to talk me through my options. He was both patient and informative in tackling all my questions and concerns. Once we settled on the most appropriate setup that fit within my budget, per my request, he arranged to have an installer come by the very next day. Micah was thus equally pleasant and knowledgeable, exhibiting great skill and care in navigating my unconventional layout to find the best places to install the keypad and various sensors. He also walked me through a quick tutorial of the various controls as well as how to use the Pulse portal for remote access. I am now constantly monitoring my home on my phone and/or laptop if for no other reason than the Pulse app/portal is so cool and easy to use. With the added sense of security I now feel, it's hard for me to imagine how things were just days earlier. Thanks guys!

"Terrific service with Bill."

We've had terrific service with Bill Wood and ADT. Been a customer for several years.  A small problem with a sensor and Bill was over personally right away to fix it himself. And ADT's Pulse system allows us to monitor remotely, especially with 2 systems. Didn't think it could be this easy or helpful.  And we can intervene with the rare false alarm before the PD is called.  Just terrific and makes us at ease whether we are home or on the road.

"Outstanding process (Marissa) and outstanding installation/setup (Micah)." 

Decided to install a security system after a break-in. Friends recommended California Security and put me in touch with Marissa. She took care of all the "formalities" and had someone out the next day to install the system. Micah showed up on time and quickly went to work. He was very communicative, explaining not only what he did but also why, and listened to any questions/feedback I had. The whole process took a couple of hours, and Micah took his time walking us through all the features of the system. If I had known it was that easy, I wouldn't have waited for a break-in to have the alarm installed... Live and learn!
Needless to say but here goes: Outstanding process (Marissa) and outstanding installation/setup (Micah). Throughout the process, I was never pressured to buy more equipment than was needed to secure the property. On the contrary, when I inquired about a couple of features, I was assured they weren't necessary, but available if I insisted on having them. I opted to listen to the experts :-)

"I was amazed at the service."

I live in a safe neighborhood and have lived there since we bought our house new in 1997.  Recently there was a break in at a neighbors house and I was fortunate enough to meet Bjorn of CA Security Pro.  We decided to install an ADT security system and I was amazed at the service he provided as well as ADT.  I have had the system installed now for approximately 6 months and I have had absolutely NO problems or complaints.  I even called ADT one day to test my motion detector and they were so helpful and friendly.  
When my alarm system was installed, the installer  was incredibly friendly, knowledgeable and willing to take as much time as needed to completely explain the functions of the alarm as well as additional user programming options.  The install team was professional, respectful and did a very clean install.

"Very straightforward, honest, and helpful."

I've never had a security system, but after some break ins our neighborhood, it was definitely time to get one.  We received quotes from two companies and ended up going with ADT because of their tech capabilities, features and quick turn around time on install.  We worked with Andy and he was great, very straightforward, honest, and helpful.  Carl did our install (even came out on a Sunday), which was quick and easy.  So far, the ADT system is very user friendly and has really made us feel safer in our home. Some of the features that ADT offers that made us choose them are the wireless control panel (no wiring to a larger panel), ability to arm and disarm from an app on your phone, the ease of use of the control panel, the voice to voice capability on the control panel (if the alarm is set off, ADT can talk with you through your control panel to turn it off if you give your password or can hear if there's an intruder in your house, you can also call for ambulance, fire, etc. through the control panel), and the great customer service.

"Our service - from start to finish - was nothing short of exceptional."  

We had already had two bids for an alarm system (Bay Alarm and Escobar's Security Plus).  Because of the expense, we were considering holding off.  However, we intended to call ADT for a bid as well. Leo Sabado drove up last week while we were in the front yard trying to change the locks on our new house.  He introduced himself and - after showing his badge - we invited him in where he gave an extremely thorough, thoughtful and professional presentation.  He addressed our concerns and offered guidance and insight without ever being condescending (which was our experience with both the other companies).  Truthfully, he made the sale within about 3-5 minutes of stepping into our home.  We worked out everything that we wanted and were offered an agreeable price. I truly believe Leo went above and beyond.  Showing us his page on your website, giving us his personal cell #,...he even offered to help my partner with the lock installation he was have difficulty with!  Amazing. We made an installation appointment immediately after signing the contract.  Leo called the office and we were asked if Wednesday between 3 and 5 was OK.  As we both work, we could not accept, and I said I could do any Monday or any evening after about 5.  Office offered 5-7 on that same Wednesday and we agreed that would work well. On Wednesday at about 5:30, ADT called us and said that - due to traffic - the installer would not be able to make it until at least 6:30; would that still be OK?  Since we were originally told 5-7, and 6:30 was well within that time frame, I was actually kind of stunned.  I suppose people are told "5-7" but hear 5 and start complaining at about 5:05. We're not those people! Well before 7 Hector showed up.  Friendly, professional and smiling.  We took him through the house and showed him where everything was supposed to go (in our minds) and he took it all in. Our front kitchen windows are aluminum crank windows from 1959, with screens on the inside, and he gave us two options regarding the install (remove screen for best protection or leave it on knowing that the screen could be pushed away partially without activating the alarm).  I hadn't thought of that but I'm not the professional: Hector is! Hector was quick, thorough and efficient.  We went about our business but we chatted throughout the install.  At one point, Hector put the wireless sensor (over the kitchen sink) at the bottom of the window.  I felt this was a little too "noticeable" (as in I didn't want to look at it) so I asked if he could move it to the top of the window.  He said "Sure, I can do that no problem."  It probably was a problem (it was now almost 7:45 and I'm sure he was tired) but he never gave any indication that he wanted anything other than a satisfied customer. Once the install was complete, we were given a complete rundown of our panel, it's features, and what to expect.  He also explained the key fobs and then had us login to the website and explained each and every feature there.  It was now well after 8 - I'm sure he was tired - but there was no rush.  Hector made sure we knew everything we needed to about our new system.
We moved to our new home in San Leandro in large part because we were tired of the crime, or constant potential for crime, in Oakland.  San Leandro, of course, is not immune and I insisted we get an alarm system first thing. We're really happy with our new ADT system but that pales to the AMAZING service we received before during and after (did I mention Leo called to ensure everything went well?) the install. This update is to let people know that I am so glad that I chose California Security Pro for my security system.  I had to call the office for additional customer service that ADT Headquarter Tech Support refused to help me.   I just want to add an additional remote control key fob to my current system but ADT Headquarter refused to walk me through and told me that they have to send someone to my home so that they can charge me $25.  I am very upset not because of the $25 but service call like this normally wastes my time because I have to stay home for 3 to 4 hours for the tech guy to come.  Luckily, the installer,Micah, called me after I contacted California Security Pro Customer Service, to walk me through with a few simple steps to do the programming.  I can't thank him enough. You definitely will not go wrong with this dealer if you decide to choose ADT system.

"Interested in updating your alarm system or getting a new one. Call these guys." 

I don't. Know about you but increasing security is one of those things that we all want but never seem to get around to doing. One reason I was hesitant to get home security is because I wanted a lot (camera, break-in Protection, access from my iPhone...) but I did not want to spend a lot and I did not know exactly what I needed for my size house. Then one evening I was contacted by Greg Blazek.  He was patient, friendly and knew that there were many different combinations of systems.  He took his time to educate me on what was available and even explained to me that I could control my thermostat from my iPhone!  
I got the works.  I got window and door sensors of course, two key pads (second one was an option)  I got two outside cameras and an inside camera. I got the new thermostat and even got a new front door lock that has a key pad and one that I can lock and unlock from my iPhone. So I can check if my front door is locked while I am away and I can even lock it remotely! (I am impressed by that). The whole installation price was about 1/3 what I was expecting and the monthly charge is less than some simpler alarm systems. Jeremy, the installer, spent his time first making sure the alarm system was working as it should then he set about programming the "toys" (camera and thermostat and front door). It all works great!  
I was contacted by Greg and he dropped by to help me program some "events" and "alerts" so I can get notifications and video clips on my iPhone. There were a couple other installers and sales reps. Unfortunately I forgot their names. Anyway, if you are interested in updating your alarm system or getting a new one. Call these guys. I worked with Larry Maerina to switch my home security home system from a small company to ADT, and the experience is great! Larry is very detail orientated to explain to us how the system works, and gave us tips about how to keep our house safe. Their equipment and technology are way more advanced than other companies that you can check hour home on your iPhone or iPad no matter where you are. And best of all, Larry is willing to commit to best price match so you don't need to shop around to check on the price.  I end up paying less than the system I used to have.
