"My Mother Who is in Her 80's Understood How to Use Her New Home Alarm System Without any Worries or Fears."

Recently I used California Security Pros for some business needs as well as my moms home. Bill Wood, our Napa representative, took excellent care of us and all of our needs. He not only was great at explaining how everything worked he made sure it was all user friendly. My mother who is in her 80's understood how to use her new home alarm system with out any worries or fears. This was a big deal since it can be difficult at times to explain new things to her. She was very satisfied with Bill's customer service and level of patience and I don't have to worry about her safety or wonder when I might need to suddenly leave my business to reset the alarm system that she may have accidently set off. Bill took the time to answer any and all questions that my family had. We never felt rushed or like we were getting the run around with him. Actually he has come back around to make sure we're satisfied with our new purchase and we're still comfortable using it. I know that I can call Bill at any point for assistance if need be.

These guys are extremely customer focused.  I was paying $25 a month for monitoring services for a 20 year old alarm system that was tied into my home phone. We dumped our home phones because they are just a waste of money and only use our cell phones these days so the old alarm system didn't work anymore.  The old alarm company wanted $700 to put a new cellular pad in the house and it had nowhere near the bells and whistles I get with ADT.

I now have the $59 a month service from ADT and they used all my old door and window detectors which is a very large number that are hardwired in so that is great.  Kyle, my sales rep explained all of this to me and he was great through the whole process. Pat, the installer came by today to install the system - he was awesome - knows his stuff inside and out, was pleasant, and efficient.  For the $99 I upgraded to cellular, got a motion detector, a camera, another wireless detector for the wine cellar, a lamp switch, and the alarm can be armed and disarmed from one of 4 places:

1) The downstairs keypad
2) The upstairs keypad
3) A key fob - this is great for walking the dog - go out the back door and arm the whole house with a press of a button
4) My cellphone - the ADT Pulse App from the App Store works great.  I can see what is going on on the camera, arm the house from NY if I want, set up a vacation schedule so the lamp goes on and off at certain times while I am on vacation.

I needed a new system anyway, and if I think about some of the things we spend money on, an extra $35 a month for great safety, piece of mind, convenience, flexibility, and state of the art technology was an easy decision for me.

ADT has good technology but the real difference maker here is California Security Pro.  These things can get complicated and having a great dealer that is first class from the sale through to the install deserves a review like this .  Not easily impressed but was today.

I don't do reviews, but these guys were awesome! Brandon was amazing, prompt, professional and kind. Even nice to my crazy dog. Installation took longer than anticipated due to our old house, but they did their best to finish on time. I feel more secure and satisfied. We've used bay alarm, AT&T digital life and now Adt and so far this was a stellar experience. The service is a bit more expensive, but I'm hoping that is because of the quality of the experience! And that if we ever do need the alarm for realz, Adt will be ready.

I was recently burglarized and was looking for a security system. I called all over looking for someone to get the system installed by Monday before I went to work as I didn't feel safe leaving the house alone without one. After several calls to get one installed, no one could meet my timeline. That's when I called California security pros. I was set up with an appointment that day and the security system was installed before I needed to go back to work! Brandon was very professional and made sure to cover all the possibilities with me. 4/29/2016  "all at a recurring cost much less than Bay Alarm's offering"

We recently upgraded our company phone system and needed to upgrade our alarm system as well.  After getting a quote from our incumbent company Bay Alarm, I was referred to Kyle Madison @ ADT to see their offerings.  Knowing our alarm situation, Kyle made it a point to meet me the same day which I was pleasantly surprised.  Not only that, the alarm package he put together is more secure than our existing system with the advantage of now having cameras on all our external doors...all at a recurring cost much less than Bay Alarm's offering as well as their legacy system that was previously in place (since year 2000).  Kyle made this whole process painless and I'm excited with the new setup as well as the peace of mind that goes along with it.  I can control most all my features online as well as my android smart phone.  I would definitely use ADT for any future installs and references for others. - Fred V. I.T. We decided to install a security system in our home after a burglary. Otis, our sales rep, came out to evaluate our needs and give us a quote on an installation to meet our needs. He was very professional, courteous, friendly, and knowledgeable and helped us decide on the best system to meet our needs. He did a walk-through to determine where all the sensors needed to be placed, and took our input about what we would like to have covered. He gave us a quote on costs and did not do a "hard sell" but let us decide (taking a few days) in our own time which we appreciated. Otis has been very responsive both with completing our purchase and being available to answer questions before and after installation. The installation was scheduled in a very timely manner and the installer did a good job. He then instructed us in the use of the system,  and answered all questions we had at the time. Compared California Security Pro ADT and Bay Alarm - the differences were substantial.

Brandon Tomas was very open-minded to different security scenarios, able to answer questions, and when he didn't know - he didn't hesitate to call a technician and get the answer or provide references that could give me the information I was looking for.  He was never impatient, always responsive, stayed committed, and confirmed that every aspect of the installation was accomplished exactly the way we had talked about.

When Pat Amatrone showed up to do the installation, the first thing he did was put shoe covers on.  That's class.  The installation went smooth and as planned, and Pat made sure that I was clear on every part of operating the system, and was especially accommodating about some nuance preferences.

The service never stopped, even when I called or e-mailed after the installation.

The prices were lower, the equipment was better, and the service was phenomenal.  What more can you ask for???

Needed to upgrade my security system.  After having three local companies come out to assess my needs, I decided to contact CA Security Pros (ADT) to complete my due diligence.  I had received the weekly fliers advertising $99 installation and a basic system.  Knowing well that you "get nothing for nothing" I asked for a comparable quote over the phone based on my three local quotes.  The Vice President, Greg listened to my needs, suggested a couple of additions including a cellular phone call option and still came in at half the price of the competition.  The final price was much more than the $99 advertisement, but I wanted a better system.  

The next part is the service which starts with the installation.  Carl Henderson was the contractor who came out to install the system.  Carl made a suggestion that we did not need one of the heat sensors originally quoted.  He found a short in one of the lines and re ran wiring .  Extremely efficient, easy to communicate with and very knowledgeable.

Overall was was very impressed with the pricing, installation and service from start to finish.

"The Quality of the Installation was Top-Notch and the Technology Certainly Seems to be Cutting Edge."

After buying our home in the North Bay and re-locating from San Francisco, we had already put down a deposit with a competing company to install a new alarm system. While we do not operate as a brick-and-mortar location; like a lot of home small-businesses we did have some unique security concerns.

When David Smith first approached us, I informed him that we were interested in a security system but were about to get an installation from a competitor. He informed me that if I gave him an opportunity at our business that he would not disappoint us with his thorough customer service and installation price estimate. He was totally correct on both accounts!

Not only were we able to get our system installed for half of the price of the previous estimate, but David went above and beyond expectations by scheduling next day (and on a weekend) installation and personally delivering certifications to our homeowners insurance agent's office. The quality of the installation was top-notch and the technology certainly seems to be cutting edge. For numerous windows, doors, glass breakage, fire, and a control panel which does not require to be bound to a landline to notify their headquarters: the deal we got could not be beat.
