It's exciting news that ADT was purchased by Apollo Global Management. Apollo buying ADT shows how valuable ADT is as the leader of the security and home automation business. For the time being it will be business as usual at ADT but by mid year of 2016 ADT will merge with Protection One that is owned by Apollo. This merger will continue to add to ADT being the superior choice of homeowners and businesses for monitored security, video surveillance and home automation.

Having a smart thermostat is convenience at its best! You can control them remotely and monitor energy usage which ultimately not only provides comfort, but the option to save money by understanding exactly when and how you are using the air conditioner and heater unit. ADT Pulse now offers 2 options in thermostats to use with your Pulse home automation. 

One fancy use for a smart thermostat is interrupting your pre-set programming. You might not warm the home until 4pm on weekdays, you know, when it's empty. Then BAM! Like a starving vulture, sickness furiously attacks you; and of course, it happens just as you arrive at work. In view of the multiple ways this has debacled your work week, at the very minimum you want a warm and cozy home to return to so you can slump around the kitchen long enough to boil soup and retreat to bed. With either thermostat, you can whip out your app and raise the thermostat before arriving. When you're sick, the tiny comforts matter!

Glad you asked! Here is a why one thermostat will or won't be the one that makes you shout, "It's the best thing since the Wheel."

Garage and shed burglary is on the rise. It does seem like an obvious, as these areas are often less vigilantly protected than the areas of the home that we occupy and present the option of danger to our family. However, as far as property value goes, garages often house our cars (for many the second highest valued items you'll ever purchase.) A recent survey found that 24.3 percent of those surveyed have had goods stolen from an outside area like a garage, shed or carport.

With 300 apps a day hitting the market, having 2 apps for your security system can seem like an indulgent burden for controlling your home security system. This app resolves that issue and so much more.
