I just had my new security system installed last week and it's working out great! I was very impressed with the new hardware because it seems California Security Pro is the only one who offer it. Most other security companies I researched offered old, outdated hardware. Also after my research I found that CA Security Pro offers a service package with guarantees that the other companies didn't. I was also impressed with my sales agent Andy Hale. He not only explained all the options and usage, but went above and beyond to check on us on the installation date and was available afterwards to answer several questions. And he has since stopped by to see if we had more questions. We would recommend him to anyone looking into getting a security system. Good job CA Security Pro!!

These guys are extremely customer focused. I was paying $25 a month for monitoring services for a 20 year old alarm system that was tied into my home phone. We dumped our home phones because they are just a waste of money and only use our cell phones these days so the old alarm system didn't work anymore. The old alarm company wanted $700 to put a new cellular pad in the house and it had nowhere near the bells and whistles I get with ADT.
I now have the $59 a month service from ADT and they used all my old door and window detectors which is a very large number that are hardwired in so that is great. Kyle, my sales rep explained all of this to me and he was great through the whole process. Pat, the installer came by today to install the system - he was awesome - knows his stuff inside and out, was pleasant, and efficient. For the $99 I upgraded to cellular, got a motion detector, a camera, another wireless detector for the wine cellar, a lamp switch, and the alarm can be armed and disarmed from one of 4 places:
1) The downstairs keypad
2) The upstairs keypad
3) A key fob - this is great for walking the dog - go out the back door and arm the whole house with a press of a button
4) My cellphone - the ADT Pulse App from the App Store works great. I can see what is going on on the camera, arm the house from NY if I want, set up a vacation schedule so the lamp goes on and off at certain times while I am on vacation.
I needed a new system anyway, and if I think about some of the things we spend money on, an extra $35 a month for great safety, piece of mind, convenience, flexibility, and state of the art technology was an easy decision for me.
ADT has good technology but the real difference maker here is California Security Pro. These things can get complicated and having a great dealer that is first class from the sale through to the install deserves a review like this . Not easily impressed but was today.

I don't do reviews, but these guys were awesome! Brandon was amazing, prompt, professional and kind. Even nice to my crazy dog. Installation took longer than anticipated due to our old house, but they did their best to finish on time. I feel more secure and satisfied. We've used bay alarm, AT&T digital life and now Adt and so far this was a stellar experience. The service is a bit more expensive, but I'm hoping that is because of the quality of the experience! And that if we ever do need the alarm for realz, Adt will be ready.

We recently upgraded our company phone system and needed to upgrade our alarm system as well. After getting a quote from our incumbent company Bay Alarm, I was referred to Kyle Madison @ ADT to see their offerings. Knowing our alarm situation, Kyle made it a point to meet me the same day which I was pleasantly surprised. Not only that, the alarm package he put together is more secure than our existing system with the advantage of now having cameras on all our external doors...all at a recurring cost much less than Bay Alarm's offering as well as their legacy system that was previously in place (since year 2000). Kyle made this whole process painless and I'm excited with the new setup as well as the peace of mind that goes along with it. We decided to install a security system in our home after a burglary. Otis, our sales rep, came out to evaluate our needs and give us a quote on an installation to meet our needs. He was very professional, courteous, friendly, and knowledgeable and helped us decide on the best system to meet our needs. He did a walk-through to determine where all the sensors needed to be placed, and took our input about what we would like to have covered. He gave us a quote on costs and did not do a "hard sell" but let us decide (taking a few days) in our own time which we appreciated. Otis has been very responsive both with completing our purchase and being available to answer questions before and after installation. The installation was scheduled in a very timely manner and the installer did a good job. He then instructed us in the use of the system, and answered all questions we had at the time. Bill Wood is extremely knowledgeable, helpful, and personable. I was very comfortable having him in my new home. Once installed, my system had to be tweaked a handful of times due to my 4 cats, but Bill helped us through it all. The technicians were always polite, but sometimes it seemed hard for them to adhere to their scheduled times (i.e. running late, running over) but overall they did an excellent job.

We just moved in to a new home in Piedmont. Showing initiative, Brandon stopped by to see if we needed an alarm system. He checked out what prior owners had at the home, then let us know what would work best. He came back -- right on time -- for a follow up appointment and walked us through all our options (after waiting patiently for the first phone installer to try to figure out the phone system.) He then scheduled the installation for a time/date that worked best for us. Carl showed up to do the installation, and he did a fabulous job. The prior owners had made a real puzzle out of the phone lines, so the phone guy was here (again) at the same time. Carl worked through all of that, stayed as long as it took to get the job done right, and then walked us through the system. Brandon and Carl were real pros, and we feel great having them on our security side!

"My Mother Who is in Her 80's Understood How to Use Her New Home Alarm System Without any Worries or Fears."
Recently I used California Security Pros for some business needs as well as my moms home. Bill Wood, our Napa representative, took excellent care of us and all of our needs. He not only was great at explaining how everything worked he made sure it was all user friendly. My mother who is in her 80's understood how to use her new home alarm system with out any worries or fears. This was a big deal since it can be difficult at times to explain new things to her. She was very satisfied with Bill's customer service and level of patience and I don't have to worry about her safety or wonder when I might need to suddenly leave my business to reset the alarm system that she may have accidently set off. Bill took the time to answer any and all questions that my family had. We never felt rushed or like we were getting the run around with him. Actually he has come back around to make sure we're satisfied with our new purchase and we're still comfortable using it. I know that I can call Bill at any point for assistance if need be.

What can I say about California Security Pro that hasn't already been said by all the other reviews on here. This company is the pinnacle of customer service.I recently moved back to Bakersfield and thought about getting an alarm system. I knew from the get go I'd be going with ADT. Before I even had a chance to call ADT a salesman came to my door and was offering ADT service to my neighborhood from a company called California Security Pro based in Los Angeles, they are an authorized dealer with ADT. He was extremely friendly he discussed all the options with us. The representatives we dealt with were Chanel (Rep) and Angel (District Manager).They were very helpful in explaining all the differences and answering any questions we had, they even threw in extra equipment we felt we needed to make the home secure. I'll highly recommend any friends and family looking into getting an alarm system.2 days after signing up the system was installed by Ron. The installation was quick and smooth. Ron was very patient and professional; many questions were being asked by several people at once and he handled them all. The entire experience was great and we are satisfied!

I had to wait 2 weeks for ADT to come out and install the alarm on the home my husband and I recently purchased. Ryan Abalos came to my door and was so polite he deserved more then 5 stars ket go with 7 stars*******. He was not pushy and understood what good customer service means. Jason Greathouse with Ca Security Pro what can I say. Well...We kept getting this call on our caller ID figured it was a sales call we normally ignored it. This time we picked up. We have not had any problems thus far with the system and I would recommend it to friends and family. I had a question today and he answered it with no problems. Any time I have talked to him he is upbeat, thou-rough, and what most don't do he said he would send me something by email and he did with in matter of minutes then called me back again to tell me it went though. I had not received some paper work he sent that today as well. He is an asset to the company. Thank you.
