After attempting to call several other competing alarm companies, and being told, "a representative will get back to you," I ended up calling CSP and could not be happier. They quickly set up a home visit and went over all the costs. Their representative,Otis Jackson was very clear about the plans, the pricing, and the instillation. Not long after, Ron Loetz came out and quickly installed the system, went over all of the features and ensured I understood all the basic functions of the alarm system. We recently upgraded our company phone system and needed to upgrade our alarm system as well.  After getting a quote from our incumbent company Bay Alarm, I was referred to Kyle Madison @ ADT to see their offerings.  Knowing our alarm situation, Kyle made it a point to meet me the same day which I was pleasantly surprised.  Not only that, the alarm package he put together is more secure than our existing system with the advantage of now having cameras on all our external doors...all at a recurring cost much less than Bay Alarm's offering as well as their legacy system that was previously in place (since year 2000).  Kyle made this whole process painless and I'm excited with the new setup as well as the peace of mind that goes along with it.  I can control most all my features online as well as my android smart phone.  I would definitely use ADT for any future installs and references for others. - Fred V. I.T. Having had a negative experience with a competitor, we were leery of the whole security business. Dorelle was incredibly responsive, friendly, and really took her time explaining what she recommended and why. It's clear that she's passionate about home security, and ensuring that her customers are EXTREMELY well taken care of.

The positive experience continued when Pat came to install our system. Never have I met a more professional, patient, and knowledgeable installer. In all cases he went above and beyond, and truly made us feel like the system was being installed correctly the first time. He walked us thru using our system and we haven't had any issues sense.

It is rare to find the level of customer service that I experienced with Brandon Tomas of California Security Pro. From the friendly, well-timed note he left in the mail box of my new home (and hence earned the first call from me when I started shopping for one), to the careful, attentive, and friendly nature of his visit for the quote, to arranging installation with William (who was fabulous as well!), to even taking my frantic call when I misplaced my fob the next day. 5 Stars! They were super professional, efficient, customer focused, and helpful with questions and concerns.Angel was our rep and he did a fantastic job working to accommodate our needs. He was a huge reason we went with CSP. Thomas (our installer) was fantastic as well...patient as he walked us through the system. FYI bee called around prior to CPS and had another security company send out an agent. It was a nightmare as he was aggressive and rude. Save your time and go with these guys from the start!

 " Shane took care of all my needs"

Just recently purchased our house this month we contacted Shane Mendez  and he provided spectacular service for us. He went above and beyond to help us get exactly what we want. I originally went to impulse the girl May offered me 7 devices total for my house and she wanted to charge me an additional 500 for the other device ( not to mention this is just the device for Windows not even the motion sensor ) my husband says she was ripping us off she gave us the worst experiment ever . Even after the contract with her was close she was sending people out to my house trying to set up the alarm without my notice .

Thank God I was referred to shane. Shane took care of all my needs.  Please everyone save yourself time and do not go to impulse. Impulse is another company with adt but they will try to dig every bit of you not to mentiom they will scam you!!! Please please save yourself time and call Shane with Capital Security Pro he will not let you down. Shane treated us as if we were his own family got us the best deal . Words can't express how much Shane has helped us after going through hell with the other company impulse. Anyone who has went through impulse should definitely call Capital Security Pro now and ask for  Shane im 99.9 percent sure impulse has ripped you off!!!! My second excellent experience with Brandon (as a neighborly gesture, he introduced me to my first home's best friend - the alarm) was fixing our store-front workshop up with a solid defense. He is probably the most gentlemanly person I have ever done business with, and I get the feeling he is genuine.
Jeremyinstalled the system with aplomb, despite some last minute change orders. After he left, I realized he didn't install the pad where the old one had been, but over to the right, and kicked myself for not paying better attention while he was there.

The price was very competitive, and I have only had good experiences with the phone support people. I like that the variety of ways to arm/disarm the system (key pad, remote, phone), and the app is pretty easy to use. - Claire F., Oakland, CA

My experience with California Security was top-notch. I called and left a message for a service rep to call me back and Jarrettcalled within 10 minutes. I have needed to call him several times for various reasons throughout the process and he picks up his phone early in the morning and late at night. He is amazing and was always ready to help when I needed him. I feel so lucky to have been connected with him as it has made the process of getting a security system installed a piece of cake. Highly recommend this vendor.  Ask for Jarrett and you will have a terrific experience.

Great service!
They took over my previously existing security system without difficulty, even though I had a technician from another company tell me the week before that taking over my old system wasn't possible!- Robert D., SOMA, San Francisco, CA

These guys are extremely customer focused.  I was paying $25 a month for monitoring services for a 20 year old alarm system that was tied into my home phone. We dumped our home phones because they are just a waste of money and only use our cell phones these days so the old alarm system didn't work anymore.  The old alarm company wanted $700 to put a new cellular pad in the house and it had nowhere near the bells and whistles I get with ADT.

I now have the $59 a month service from ADT and they used all my old door and window detectors which is a very large number that are hardwired in so that is great.  Kyle, my sales rep explained all of this to me and he was great through the whole process. Pat, the installer came by today to install the system - he was awesome - knows his stuff inside and out, was pleasant, and efficient.  For the $99 I upgraded to cellular, got a motion detector, a camera, another wireless detector for the wine cellar, a lamp switch, and the alarm can be armed and disarmed from one of 4 places:

1) The downstairs keypad
2) The upstairs keypad
3) A key fob - this is great for walking the dog - go out the back door and arm the whole house with a press of a button
4) My cellphone - the ADT Pulse App from the App Store works great.  I can see what is going on on the camera, arm the house from NY if I want, set up a vacation schedule so the lamp goes on and off at certain times while I am on vacation.

I needed a new system anyway, and if I think about some of the things we spend money on, an extra $35 a month for great safety, piece of mind, convenience, flexibility, and state of the art technology was an easy decision for me.

ADT has good technology but the real difference maker here is California Security Pro.  These things can get complicated and having a great dealer that is first class from the sale through to the install deserves a review like this .  Not easily impressed but was today.

I don't do reviews, but these guys were awesome! Brandon was amazing, prompt, professional and kind. Even nice to my crazy dog. Installation took longer than anticipated due to our old house, but they did their best to finish on time. I feel more secure and satisfied. We've used bay alarm, AT&T digital life and now Adt and so far this was a stellar experience. The service is a bit more expensive, but I'm hoping that is because of the quality of the experience! And that if we ever do need the alarm for realz, Adt will be ready.

I was recently burglarized and was looking for a security system. I called all over looking for someone to get the system installed by Monday before I went to work as I didn't feel safe leaving the house alone without one. After several calls to get one installed, no one could meet my timeline. That's when I called California security pros. I was set up with an appointment that day and the security system was installed before I needed to go back to work! Brandon was very professional and made sure to cover all the possibilities with me. 5/17/2016 "we knew that we did not need to look any further..."

After some recent activity around the neighborhood, I knew it was time to get an alarm system installed once again. I saw the awesome reviews for California Security Pro so I filled out their online form and within minutes, got a call from them. I scheduled an appointment for the next morning and Michael came out. He was very friendly and you can tell that he knew what he was talking about. Michael listened to all of our needs and concerns and gave us good recommendations on what would be best for our home. After speaking to him, we knew that we did not need to look any further and decided to get the system installed the next day.

Micah was our installer and he too was very professional and courteous. The installation was quick and he made sure to explain everything to us before he left. He even left his contact information in case we ever had any questions or needed anything else. After everything was done, Michael came over once again to make sure we were satisfied with all the work and he even followed up with me the week after installation which I thought was very nice too. Overall, I am very happy with my experience with these two and would definitely recommend anyone in need of an alarm system to this company.

I recently switched to California security pro from another Los Angeles based alarm company that I had used for 8 years. The other company had me frustrated for many reasons.Mr. Rodriguez came right on time for my appointment and was able to answer all my questions. He made himself available for any further questions, which I did end up having. He was helpful without being pushy. The technician, Daniel, was equally helpful even when I kept bugging him with more questions! "I was about to give up on ADT and even some of their competitors because the customer service just really sucks! Enter Dorelle and California Security Pro - I called and spoke with a live person within seconds, they scheduled someone to come out the next day to do an evaluation of our home. Dorelle was knowledgeable and efficient, and shared a quote for an upgraded system and camera - the cost was very competitive with all others we spoke with and again, the customer service was excellent.

I am very impressed with the service I received from Mr. Angel Rodriguez.  Despite a several last minute changes and some very inconvenient requests made under my account, Mr. Rodriguez was surprisingly cordial and willing to help...even after his work-hours in the evenings.  He was very patient and courteous and he took care of everything on time.  He always responded on time and kept all his promises, even when I had to make so many last minute changes to my orders.  

I hope this company realizes what a gem they have in Mr. Rodriguez, as I will continue to use them for my future projects.  And I have no doubt that this young man will take a larger role in his company to influence greater number of people.  For the record, no one had asked me to write this review and it is a pleasure to speak of someone who seems to go out of his way to help his clients above and beyond his due diligence.  Thank you.

We decided to install a security system in our home after a burglary. Otis, our sales rep, came out to evaluate our needs and give us a quote on an installation to meet our needs. He was very professional, courteous, friendly, and knowledgeable and helped us decide on the best system to meet our needs. He did a walk-through to determine where all the sensors needed to be placed, and took our input about what we would like to have covered. He gave us a quote on costs and did not do a "hard sell" but let us decide (taking a few days) in our own time which we appreciated. Otis has been very responsive both with completing our purchase and being available to answer questions before and after installation. The installation was scheduled in a very timely manner and the installer did a good job. He then instructed us in the use of the system,  and answered all questions we had at the time. ADT was one of the only ones that actually came to my house to give their recommendations on what security MY house needed versus what was the most expensive option. Angel Rodriguez came to my house to talk to me about my options. He was extremely knowledgeable about the proper security measures I should take for my house, and was very courteous, kind and respectful.
