I signed up for ADT via CA Security Pro after a few frustrating experiences trying to get honest information from some other ADT dealers.
Louis, the salesman who stopped by my home, was really helpful, put me in direct touch with his boss Kyle Madison when I had specific questions, and was patient with my rant about door to door salespeople and lack of honesty.
Ron did a great job with the install. He was thorough but quick, and did a good job explaining the system.
CA Security Pro gave me the best overall deal in terms of both quality of service and cost. Highly recommended!

My parents home got broken into on Christmas Eve so they decided to get an alarm system. They raved about the job the sales rep, Larry Maerina, did for them so they put me in contact with him. He came out the next day and got me set up with a great package for my house.

He set up the install for the next day and the technician set everything up in 1.5 hours. Thank you Larry for all of your help.

I waited 3 months to ensure the ADT system I received performed as promised. So far so good. Brian was great to work with and willing to help meet your needs. The installation was pretty seamless also. Overall, I would recommend the system. If I had to pick one thing that could have been better, it would have been the hardware. The honeywell keypad is bulky, and looks older. Lastly, the video for cameras suddenly disconnect, but happens very few times, about 1-3x a month. Brian advises it's mostly related to your wifi internet strength connectivity. In sum, I am happy with the system so far..

Tonight my husband and I had ADT installed. We had Santiago which was our installer, he was polite and very through from the beginning. As he was installing he was very neat very precise and made sure all the sensors and other equipment was recognized by the command center. He walk us through the key panel to ensure we understand how it works and also how to install the ADT application on our phones. I would definitely recommend Santiago for any future work as well for those out there that are considering ADT ask for Santiago.

Had a Sales Rep Joe Abeyta come to my house for a security system to protect our new home that we moved into. He was very helpfully and professional and explained how they system works and how it can even connect to a smart phone to see your system. We ended up getting multiple cameras and motion sensors throughout our home. The process was pretty straightforward as we spoke of the type of system and equipment I would need for my home. He explained everything in full detail and made it very easy to invest in a monitoring system to protect my home.

The installed was scheduled for a future date and the technician, showed up on time, as scheduled and walked me through the equipment that would be installed. He was very thorough with the placement of the touch pad on the wall as well as the other sensors throughout the home. Once the system was in place, he performed the necessary checks to ensure it was working properly. We walked through the touch pad and its features as well changing the pass code. He also taught me how to download the app on my phone which works perfectly! I love the key fob for an additional way to arm the system and am happy the install went well.

In summary, Joe Abeyta and his Team were great and I am pleased with how the service turned out. Would recommend California Security Pro and Joe to anyone who is looking a security system that is easy to use whether at home or on-the-go.

Kyle Madison, write this name in your to call list whenever you are in need to install any security measures for your sweet home. he is your guy who knows the job and will not push you to buy something which is not required. he will provide you the best advice and will answer all of your questions (may include many of my stupid questions as well) and will take time to make you understand how things work. he visited my house and gave me a very reasonable quote and installation done on next day and it was pretty smooth except one little hiccups which was immediately solved by them and we are very happy that we got Kyle as our man to work on the security installation.
Any day i would recommend Kyle and I am sure he will not disappoint.

We recently had alarm system installed by California Security Pro. From beginning to end, they provided A+ service and would definitely recommend them to anyone looking to install a security system. A few hi-lites below:
- Comprehensive and Personal Initial Consultation: Kyle visited my house, thoroughly inspected the layout out the house and existing alarm system and recommended a security system package appropriate for the house and per my requirements. Additionally, he answered all of my countless questions. In total, his visit lasted 2 hours, most of that time spent answering my questions.
- No Up-selling: of the 28 existing sensors, Kyle indicated that all, except for 2, could be re-used. A SIGNIFICANT SAVINGS! Additionally, he indicated that any re-used sensors would be tested for proper function during installation of new system and be included in the warranty.
- Efficient/Exacting Installation: system installation engineer (Pat) arrived on time, spent almost an entire day testing existing sensors, installing new system, testing the new system, and provided a through tutorial of operation of new system. Installation went so smoothly and quietly, I hardly noticed that Pat was going through the entire house, including attic space, diligently completing the installation. If you decide to go with Cal. Security Pro, then ABSOLUTELY insist on installation by Pat.
- Excellent After Sales/Installation Service: both Kyle and Customer Care representative called to inquire about the product and service. But, what really impressed me was a couple of weeks after the installation, I had a question about one specific operation. Called Pat, and he returned my call right away. This was on a Saturday afternoon.

In sum, again, I would highly recommend California Security Pro.

Once I called to inquire about a home security system, I was promptly set up with Dorelle Kemp, who arrived at my home 'on-time' and completely capable of looking at the property and making recommendations. I had already over-estimated what I might need and Dorelle focused on what I wanted and made a proposal that was better than what I expected.
Within a couple of days, the system was installed, tested and both specialists tested and re-tested the system, did some training and it was done.
Under budget, satisfied and willing to recommend this team and their services to anyone.

We recently moved to Antioch from the South Bay and were looking into getting an alarm system when Joseph Abeyta from ADT came by to greet us. He wasn't pushy at all in going over all of our various options for how to have our system monitored. We didn't get the pre-wired model so we had to go with a wireless system which worked out very well for us. We decided to go with the pulse app and so far have been very glad we did. Our installation went very smooth and only took about two hours. Hector, our installer was also very professional and clean. The day after we had our system put in, Joseph came back to help us get our App all set up and also went out of his way to recommend various improvements that we could make ourselves to the outside of our home and garage to make our house more secure. Joseph Abeyta is the best rep I have ever run across. He was super knowledgeable and asked me a ton of questions to find out exactly what I needed. He wasn't out to just make a sale... he wanted to do what was right for me, even if that meant not overdoing it with extra accessories he could have sold me. He spent way more time with me than he probably should have, but never made me feel rushed or that he wasn't willing to give me as much time as I needed. He continues to check on me and my satisfaction even a month later. Seriously give him a call at (925)-914-0140!

If at all possible, request Mikel Simon as your installer. He is outstanding! He is super knowledgeable as well. He also spent a ton of time getting things just right and installing my system in a way that works great but also discrete for my needs. I had one faulty sensor the next day and he came over on his own time to replace it. Outstanding customer service!

It is with great honor to write my first yelp review for two awesome ADT staff - Eric Aguilar (Sales) and Santiago Rodriguez (Technician). I had moved in to my new house recently and Eric informed me of the ADT promotion for new owners. At first I wasn't ready for the install due to unpacking, etc but after talking to him for couple of hours I was confident that we needed it soon. Eric was very professional, genuine and patient with my questions. He had the innate ability to make you feel comfortable and trust him like a true friend. Eric followed up after the install appointment to make sure everything went well and see if I had any questions which was great customer service. Also, I had another staff member Gabriel texted to follow up on the installation which I appreciated it.

The day of the install, Technician Santiago texted that he was on his way and was very punctual. He explained the installation process and made sure I approved every equipment and device setup. After he was done with the installation he provided a clear concise instruction of how to use the wall keypad and Ring and ADT apps on the phone. Santiago was very professional and took his time with the installation which I was very grateful for his excellent customer service.

Overall, I love my ADT security system! I highly recommend these wonderful gentlemen to anyone. I am extremely picky of my reviews so to write my first yelp review ever says that I truly trust and respect Eric and Santiago to always provide excellent customer service! Thank you and I appreciate you both!

My wife put me in charge of making arrangements for a complete upgrade to our existing security system. After searching on the internet for installers, I was lucky enough to be led to the Security Pro Group of San Ramon via lots of good reviews posted on Yelp.

I called Kyle Madison (925-997-7563) and was able to make an appointment for him to visit us the next day to assess our existing system and make recommendations. Our goal was not only to upgrade our existing system but to also add cameras for surveillance/recording.

Kyle was able to quickly assemble a proposal that would use portions of the existing system that were not obsolete and to include some Flir cameras for outdoor surveillance. Kyle did an outstanding job of scoping out new equipment that met our needs. He did not attempt to sell us anything that we did not need. After finalizing the proposal, we were able to get onto the Security Pro Group's installation schedule very quickly.

Within a few days, the security equipment installation technicians (Jesse and William) arrived to install the security system upgrades and cameras. They worked quickly and systematically. All the wire runs, conduits, terminations, and equipment installations were performed neatly and thoroughly. Upon completion, they gave us great training on the system operation.

Kyle followed up after the installation to make sure we were completely satisfied. We did have one problem with a window sensor that failed a few days after installation. This was simply a defective sensor and not an issue with Security Pro Group's installation. Kyle quickly arranged for a technician to return to our house to install a replacement sensor.

Everything is working great! Many, many thanks to Kyle, Jesse, and William for superb installation and support. We highly recommend the Security Pro Group of San Ramon.

The install technician showed up first thing in the two-hour arrival window. Very polite and professional. The install took nearly 3 hours because we had some old and broken sensors and he had to get into the attic to access some equipment but he kept all his tools on a mat (to protect our floors) and didn't leave any mess. Very patient when showing me how to use the alarm panel. Overall happy with the experience.

I reached out to CA Security Pro based on their reviews as an ADT Authorized Dealer. As per reviews, I was very satisfied with the entire process. I recently purchased a home that already had ADT installed, which is why I initially wanted to stay with ADT. After that decision, finding who would install made the next most sense.

They didn't try to make me purchase anything I didn't need, they were straightforward with what were "add ons" versus just basic service, and their installation with quick, seamless, and very professional.

On the sales side I worked with Kyle, on install I believe his name was Ray, and again, the entire process was great.

I ended up adding 7 (one was thrown in to make sure my son's room was completely covered since it has a door and windows to the outside) more sensors and 1 motion detector. I also added the ADT Pulse app to my plan (it allows you to arm and disarm from an app, along with other features)

I have contacted at least four security experts to set up an anti-theft alarm system at my brand new custom home. Due to a variety of reasons, either because of costs, insufficient technical expertise, etc., the deals all fell through. I was so frustrated that I suspended the project. A deal was struck on the first phone call. Installation followed a week later. Now, it is done and working perfectly. And I feel safe in my own home, at last. This is a long overdue review. I have installed the ADT alarm system last summer. Taniqua Pino was really patient & helpful. She wasn't pushy at all. She answered all my questions and made sure that I had a great deal. I had a few hiccups during the process and I was about to cancelled the order. However, her professionalism & customer services made me changed my mind. She even called me after the installation to ensure that I was happy with the system. I really recommend to contact Taniqua from California Security Pro if you are interested with the ADT system.

I ordered an ADT security system last year. My main point of contact was Taniqua Pino. She was absolutely AMAZING!!! Her customer service was truly a 10 despite a few hiccups that arose during the process. Several issues came up--changed service from one location to another in an 18 month period, one of my cameras was stolen, the install team had to re-schedule, but Taniqua intervened on my behalf and made the entire process seamless. She also followed up, both my phone and email to ensure the install was completed to my satisfaction and address any concerns after the fact. Again, truly a 10!!!

When I discovered that my neighbors house across the street had been broken in to I freaked out. We spent so much time finding a nice house on, what we thought, was a safe, quiet street. So, I reached out to family and friends and got many suggestions. We got several quotes for varying levels of systems. None of them could hold a candle to the expertise, professionalism, and bang for buck that I got from Kyle Madison at ADT. I'm not normally one who just automatically goes to the largest corporation for products or services. In fact, I usually avoid it. But Kyle impressed me so much that I couldn't imagine entrusting my home to anyone else. Now, when I leave my house or when we are in for the night and I turn on my alarm system, I picture a shield forming around my family. It's also nice to be able to log in to my alarm system remotely and not only turn the system on, but look at my front and back cameras, and turn on lights to simulate that there is someone home even if I'm many, many miles away. The quality of the products, the ease of use of the vast features, and the affordability of the system were just the icing on the cake that is having Kyle as my ADT Guy. I would not hesitate for a second to not just suggest, but DEMAND that anyone I know who is looking for a home security system talk to Kyle Madison at ADT.

This is one of those "I wish I could give more than 5 stars" reviews. It will be a bit lengthy, but I hope that others might benefit from my experiences.

When we purchased our Napa home (and before I knew about Bill Wood at California Security Pro Napa), we chose ADT because of their national reputation, and also because they were the company the seller had been using. I (naively) assumed that all ADT "authorized" dealers were the same in regards to equipment, prices and business practices. So I just googled ADT Napa and picked the first "authorized" dealer that came up. BIG mistake.

Basically, the ADT rep/installer who came out (NOT from a local Napa company) was a salesman who was out to make a buck. They will give you a "teaser" offer over the phone, and of course you can expect to pay more based on your home's configuration--I just had no idea how much more. He misled us, then upsold us the new equipment he said we needed, at a huge markup. I'm usually very thorough about researching prices, reviews, etc. but we were overwhelmed with so many other aspects of our move that I didn't do my usual due diligence.

The next day: enter Bill Wood of California Security Pro ADT based in Napa. He introduced himself and his company, and when I told him that I already a system, he inquired about it. When he discovered how much I had paid and that we had replaced an existing system that might have still been operational, he was absolutely outraged. He explained that he would have evaluated the existing system and what he would have charged for a new one. I realized that I had been taken advantage of and how much I had grossly overpaid.

I asked Bill what I could do at this point (and I was actually very happy with the system itself). Bill thoroughly explained how I could exercise my three-day right to cancel, and also that I could speak to the ADT corporate office about my experience. I decided to do both.

Long story shorter--they refunded half my purchase price and I kept my new system. Bottom line: Bill Wood, who did not make a penny out of all of this, saved me a LOT of money because he is an ethical, dedicated professional who cares about
his community and the reputation of his company.
He is honest, thorough, knowledgeable and incredibly helpful (he came over and helped clear up a system error message at no charge, on a system he didn't even install, Thanksgiving Eve!)

Six stars for Bill Wood and California Security Pro Napa.

My objective was to provide a sense of security for my wife when I was away, and to have remote camera access to the exterior of the home. After considering a number of other less expensive options, I requested an ADT contact via their website. Surprisingly, I had a return call within hours, and set up a home visit for the next day. The home visit went well, a two-year contract was signed and the installation was scheduled and accomplished within days. I was very impressed with the entire process as well as the quality of the final product - wireless. The three cameras record any motion and save the images for 30 days. Recommend them highly.

Home security has never been my favorite topics, at first a bit confusing there's network apps, motion sensors and connected door alarms all of which seem to work flawlessly together. I have researched alarm companies and alarm equipment for quite awhile and honestly, i don't have tine to install it myself so I put it off until a friend referred their alarm guy, Larry Maerina at California Security Pro. I called Larry at 707-373-3218 and just the very reasons why he was highly recommended, he was responsive, prompt for the appointment and very easy to deal with.

Larry is definitely not like other pushy, high strung sales reps that looks like all they care about is their time and how much money they are going to get out of me. To my surprise, he was genuine, honest and professional. He took the time to explain the benefits of having an alarm system, gave me safety tips to make my home more secure against current criminal activities and sold me only what i needed. I chose on my own what I wanted and he gave me free equipment to help me out. I liked his no fluff, no hidden fees, basic and affordable presenration. He followed up by visiting the day of installatuon to make sure everything is installed and is placed where they should be. I had to call him for more window stickers and he showed up the same day!

If anyone is looking, i highly recommend you give this guy a call. You will not be disapppointed!

Together we selected a a system including options I required for my installation. I signed a contract for the agreed upon system and one year's monitoring service. The new system was installed and operational within two days. Upon completion,the installer sat down with me and went over the operation of the total system, my required interaction with the monitoring station and the operation of the equipment actually installed in my house. In addition to the cost of installation, the monitoring service is approximatly an additional $50 per month.

We started our ADT relationship with a DIFFERENT authorized ADT dealer and had a nightmare experience. Two days and eight hours of time and our house was not secured. After determining that the install was hopeless, I cancelled and I called California Security Pro to rescue me. I chose them primarily because of all the positive YELP reviews they had and they DID NOT DISAPPOINT!!! They came in and completely rescued us.

My initial contact was with Taniqua at the office. She was wonderful and helped guide the whole process for us. She was a good listener, and completely understood my situation and helped us get it corrected. She stayed in touch with us throughout the install and was a source of confidence that we had made the correct decision.

Kyle Madison came out to examine our home and help us with the service plan and equipment choices. He spent an hour or so just listening and going over our options. He was fair about everything and straightforward with a written quote of all equipment and all work to be done. He did not try to oversell us on anything and made several recommendations that actually saved us money. He completely assured us that they would correct and fix the disaster of the first installer, and they did.

Jesse came out and did our complete install, indoor and outdoor cameras, a two story home with many door and wireless window sensors and three control pads. He completed the entire job in a day and we were 100% secured and comfortable with our new alarm system. His work was neat and clean and he was ultra-polite in everything he said or did. I was smiling when we said goodbye to him, as we were 100% completely satisfied with our job.

I cannot say enough about how well we were treated by everyone at this organization. I feel that we had a first class experience and have tremendous faith in our security, because of California Security Pro! Outstanding people, outstanding company!

Grant came in and showed us all our options and how we could afford a wireless system...he was knowledgeable, patient with all our questions and helpful with solutions. He didn't oversell us but worked within our budget. He also showed up the day of installation to make sure everything was flowing according to plan. George was the installer and also efficient, helpful and knowledgeable!! Part of our decision was that there price including installation was much better than other companies we met with. Joseph and Carl are totally awesome!!! Joe came over in the middle of the night to explain how the security system works and the options it has. Joe spent several hours with my family and explained the Do's and Don'ts of positioning sensors. Also where most burglars tend to attack/break-in first.

Carl installed the system without any issues. He also gave us a tutorial on how to use it. Gave me his cell number in case I have questions about the service. I really can't thank them enough to make my family feel secure in our home and neighborhood.

I bought a house and was on a time crunch to get home security installed before my move in date. Good experience from the start. Kyle, the owner of California Security Pro, takes his job seriously, and I noted his incredible number of positive reviews. They are for good reason. Kyle is a good listener first, and made the transaction simple, because he knew I was in a hurry. I owned ADT at my last house, so I already knew the company was awesome. No fancy explanations, he just showed me how it would work to get exactly what I wanted. He even managed to negotiate a last minute install date on a Saturday, which is typically a tough day to get on the schedule.

It's no surprise that everyone on Kyle's team was just as awesome, because the values of a company come from the top. When it came to working in my house, Kyle's installer took his time, which I really appreciated. When he finished, he spent even more time explaining exactly how to use the system, how to program extra codes, even how to send a silent alarm with a distress code. That was so great, because I'm not good at reading manuals, face to face explanation in front of the control box was way easier to understand. Now I use the system with ease. As a follow up, I've called both his local team, and the 800 Customer service center for various reasons, and was helped quickly, and with great courtesy.

I feel safe in my new home, and I'm happy to be part of the California Security Pro family. Good team, awesome service, great people.

The last time I looked at security systems, I had to endure a hard sell from a few different security companies, enough so that it completely turned me off to the idea. Fast-forward a few years, new home, new needs, and I decided to place a few more calls.

Every person I spoke to at California Security Pro was knowledgable about the products and followed-up to my requests and questions promptly.

I can't say enough good things about the sales person Joe, he took the time to walk through my entire house and discussed how we used different rooms, and what our security concerns were. I explained exactly what we were looking for, and he hd some great suggestions. I especially appreciate that he was not trying to upsell me on a bigger system than I needed.

My installer Pat showed up exactly on schedule, and he was neat and professional. You can tell that he has a lot of pride in the work that he does, and he took extra effort to be sure that I was happy with the placement of components.

1/20/2017 - "Both Otis and Ron were consummate professionals"

From the first phone call to the last stage of installation, this has been a phenomenal company. I respect all Yelpers but I honestly don't understand how (if they had a similar experience to me), didn't have a wonderful 5 star experience.

I called on a Monday and had a consult with Otis THAT DAY. Obviously when people want a security system, it is sometimes because something unfortunate happened. So I was super excited that they were so responsive and available. Otis was terrific and we pimped out my house in terms of automation and security.

The very next day, Ron came and began the installation. Not finishing until it was totally perfect. Both Otis and Ron were consummate professionals and incredible to deal with. I may be moving this year, and I will absolutely use them to move and set up even more security. They are responsive, personable and patient.

I also LOVE my system. I mean I show it to people on how I can arm from my phone and open and close my garage also from my phone. I live on four floors so it is so awesome that I can shut and lock doors from the fourth floor. Wow. I can't get over how much I love it and feel it was a great investment in my own laziness and my very real peace of mind.

I just recently bought a new home and was looking into purchasing a home security system. Bill Wood from ADT came over to my house at a time that worked best for me and my family. He spent time explaining in detail the service options and answered all of our questions. We felt no pressure to sign up for ADT but I am glad we did. The installation happened fast and the employee that installed the system was very professional while in our home. I also loved that Bill Wood did a follow up with us and he really gets the meaning of customer service. I would recommend Bill Wood and ADT over other security systems.
