Senior's homes are their biggest financial asset and that is why they would benefit from having an [ADT monitored home security system](https://www.californiasecuritypro.com/blog/bid/179515/ADT-Monitored-Cellular-Security-System) installed. Not only would a home security system protect their home and belongings from theives, it would also provide some peace of mind to their children. Knowing that if an emergency arises, their parents have the option to be connected immediately to an agent using the [two-way voice connect](https://www.californiasecuritypro.com/blog/bid/182935/ADT-Monitoring-with-Two-Way-Voice) option provides great comfort to their children and caregivers. Seniors tend to be more vulnerable to threats and criminal activity. By turning their system on STAY MODE, seniors can freely move about their home during the day and while sleeping knowing that the perimeter of their home is constantly being protected and monitored by ADT.  ## ADT Home Security System Helps Seniors Have an Active Lifestyle ![adt home security monitoring](https://www.californiasecuritypro.com/hs-fs/file-356677512-jpg/images/seniors_2.jpg?width=222&height=135&name=seniors_2.jpg)Retired seniors typically choose to spend their golden years traveling or participating in fitness classes, games, and social activities. An [ADT monitored home security system](https://www.californiasecuritypro.com/blog/?Tag=ADT+Monitored+Home+Security+System) is a valuable investment by allowing seniors to travel without having to slow down or stop feeling young at heart just because they are worrying about leaving their home unprotected. The goal of every retired senior is to stay physically and mentally active. The benefit of having home monitoring for seniors is the peace of mind that it brings knowing that they are protected in their homes as well as away from their homes while encouraging them to live life to the fullest. ## Seniors Can Live Independently with an ADT Home Security System The benefit of having home monitoring with [two-way voice](https://www.californiasecuritypro.com/blog/bid/90990/ADT-Home-Security-Audio-Verification-with-Two-Way-Voice-Communication) can allow seniors to rapidly alert someone in the case of an accidental fall or sudden life threating illness. In having two-way voice service, an operator is available at all times to the caller. You are immediately connected to an operator who will start voice communicating with the senior until the appropriate emergency personnel arrives. The major benefit of this service is that it provides seniors with an added level of assurance when it comes to concerns about living on their own. Two-way voice connect option is a great feature because it offers instant voice communication with a live operator 24 hours a day. There is a [panic medical button](https://www.californiasecuritypro.com/blog/bid/170433/ADT-Keypad-One-Touch-Command-Buttons) also available for those who have medical problems. If this feature is activated in the event of an emergency, the ADT dispatcher will remain on the line until help arrives.  ## ADT Home Security System Supports Children and Caregivers ![ADT Home Security two-way voice](https://www.californiasecuritypro.com/hs-fs/file-356191461-jpg/images/senior_4.jpg?width=97&height=149&name=senior_4.jpg)The benefit of an ADT monitored home security system works for both the caregiver and the senior.
