Broadview Security, Formerly Brinks Home Security was Purchased by ADT

On Jan. 19, 2010 Tyco International, owners of the ADT business, announced that it was purchasing Broadview Security, formerly known as Brinks Home Security. Broadview Security came into existence in June 2009, having formerly been known as Brink's Home Security. Brink's Home Security itself was a spin-off of the Brink's Company, this being their residential and commercial security installing business that they developed alongside the well-known Brink's cash transport business.

All previous Brinks Home Security and Broadview Security customers are now monitored by ADT Security Services.

Activate a Broadview or Brinks Home Security System

If you move into a home in California with a Broadview or Brink's Security Sytem and would like to activate it, call California Security Pro - ADT at 1-800-310-9490 to get your Brink's Home Security System Monitored.

We will also give you $850 of upgrades to your existing Broadview or Brink's System when you get monitoring from ADT. Most of the security systems installed by Brink's Home Security were manufactured by Honeywell/Ademco. At California Security Pro we activate, upgrade and install Honeywell/Ademco, GE and DSC security panels.
