A salesman came the next day after I called the company. He thourghly explaned their system and what options were available to me. Together we selected a a system including options I required for my installation. I signed a contract for the agreed upon system and one year's monitoring service. The new system was installed and operational within two days. Upon completion,the installer sat down with me and went over the operation of the total system, my required interaction with the monitoring station and the operation of the equipment actually installed in my house. In addition to the cost of installation, the monitoring service is approximatly an additional $50 per month.

I don't write many reviews, but the fact is these guys were great. I did my homework before I called: I travel some for work, and though my wife and I live in a safe neighborhood I have always felt weird about her being here alone when I'm out of the state (or even country). So I did the research online: I knew I wanted two way voice, I knew how much I wanted to pay a month, and I was leaning toward ADT because of their reputation. I interacted with one other flaky company closer to where I live (Cameron Park)...they did not even call me back for two days! And another company where I talked to someone on the east coast; he was nice, but they did not offer two way voice and you had to install all your own hardware. ADT may not be the cheapest possible monthly option, but the two way voice was crucial for me (otherwise the alarm goes off and the company calls two cell numbers before they even call for assistance; two way voice means I or my wife can say something is wrong right the hell now when ADT comes over the speaker). The CSP people were extremely professional from the very first time I called (somehow I dialed their corporate office). Mike (from the Sacramento location) came to my house the day after I made that first call and gave me the pitch: it was more information than I needed, but I knew that was his job and I let him show me the slides on his laptop, etc.. I did not want to sign up that morning...it was a few days before Christmas and I am utterly non impulsive, but he made me an offer I could not possibly refuse, and I took it. The next day I had a very professional and courteous installer come out, work briefly with my wife and I, and we were wired to go. I have zero complaints: CSP came when they said they would, they did what they said they would, they charged me what they said they would (I waited to write this to make sure). I got exactly what I wanted for an unbeatable price, and I pay the national monthly rate ADT charges everyone with my level of service (about 48 bucks). All my doors are covered, I have sensors on the windows where I need them, and a motion detector. All in all, an excellent experience with the CSP people. They were truthful and genuine.
