Spring is beautiful, but for many, summer is the season we wait all year long for!

Film Night in the Park has been providing family, friends and neighbors the opportunity to gather in beautiful outdoor settings, enjoy quality movies, and build a strong sense of community since 2001. On the theme of movies, visit the Smith Rafael Film Center. They get great review after great review from all the locals and visitors alike. If you are looking for a great independent film, look no further. You will find multiple award winning movies here. Not necessarily the ones that raked in millions at the box office, but the ones that won the hearts of film lovers for their passionate contributions to society. Check out there schedule here. Beyond great films, if you haven't seen the building on 4th, it's a beautifully restored and kept theater art deco building.
And finally, The Marin Mobile Drive-In Theater in Novato. This FREE event is hosted by a local couple that love movies. Adorable is what comes to mind. You drive in and park, tune in your radio and listen. Kids frolic around before hand and affordable popcorn and drinks are available. There are fresh homemade cupcakes made by Laura also.
