September has come and is almost gone! Those of us with kids, have probably sent them off to school and have some extra free time on our hands. However, even though your home may seem a little quieter, summer isn't over quite yet and families still want to enjoy every bit of sun they can get. Those of us familiar with San Jose, know that there is always excitement and events to enjoy in every little corner. One of the most popular places I'm sure most of us know of is Santana Row! Such a lively atmosphere, with live bands performing on weekends and not to mention, fine dining and fine shopping! Music, food, retail therapy all in the same place? Definite YES. As a matter of fact, to wrap summer up, Santana Row is having the 21st Amendment Brewery Event at Cielo. Cielo is a seasonal roof-top terrace bar on Santana Row, where on September 30th you can enjoy craft brews and small bites. In addition to this event, there are tons of other things you can do in San Jose to end the summer on a great note! With the few warm and beautiful days we have left, let's enjoy them! 

We are midway through September and the fall season us upon the City of Los Angeles. The official first day of fall is September 22, 2014. If you haven't already made it out to the Los Angeles County Fair, now is the time! Remember the fair wraps up on September 28th. You still have a few more days to enjoy the festivities and of course some classic fair food! September 20, 2014 kicks off the 6th annual LA Brewers Beer Week, an event any beer enthusiast in the area might like to check out! September 20th will be the start of a  weeks worth of events hosted by breweries throughout the City of Los Angeles. If do you decide to attend this event, please  make sure you make arrangements to get home safe and sound!  If a tasty meal is more up your alley, the Galbani Cheese Italian Feast of San Gennaro Los Angeles, which was founded by celebrities-Jimmy Kimmel and Adam Carolla 12 years ago, will take place on September 26-28 in Hollywood. Italian food from local eateries, live music and rides for the kids? Who could turn that down? Come out and experience Italian and Italian American culture at its finest! 

September has arrived in Bakersfield, CA. It's that special time of year again, the Kern County Fair is only weeks a way, September 17-28. Be sure not to miss out on the carnival, ranch rodeo, great food and concerts this year. Bakersfield Country Club will host the Wounded Heroes' Golf Tournament at 12:00 PM on Saturday, September 13. If golf is not your forte, the 11th Festival of Wine and Cheese Fundraiser will be held on September 13 as well. The Padre Hotel will host A Pub Crawl Fundraiser for the Spay and Nueter Foundation on September 20 from 6-8:00PM. Donations are $25 for this event. 

Fall is approaching the city of Anaheim, although you could never tell from the current temperatures. There is no shortage of local events to partake in this September, most of which are family friendly. Walking with the Dinosaurs, The Arena Spectacular will be held September 3-7 at the Honda Center! This production gives you a first hand experience of what it would have been like to take a walk with the dinosaurs, featuring life size re-creations and breathtaking realism. This experience surely will not disappoint and promises to be something you won't soon forget (check ticketmaster for tickets)! Also, don't miss out on the Fab Four (The Ultimate Tribute Band to the Beatles) at Anaheim's Pearson Park Amphitheater, a grand finale of the Summer Night Shows and Concert Series, 2014. This concert will begin at 8:00 P.M. on September 13. Family show tickets are only $3 per person and children under 8 years old are free! Towards the end of the month the neighboring City of Irvine will host the Global Village Festival at Bill Barber Park , September 27 10:00AM- 6:00 P.M. This is the 13th year of the Global Village Festival, which features multicultural food, live entertainment, crafts and activities for the kid, various exhibits and an international marketplace! 

As we welcome September, summer in the City of Santa Ana is winding down. Still, there is no shortage of activities and events on the community calendar.

The month of September is one of many, very exciting months to enjoy in San Francisco. As summer comes to a close, you definitely don't want to spend those precious days at home, understandably so. As a local security company, it is always great to hear when burglars are caught. The line up is quite impressive this year including recording artists Tyrese, Lalah Hathaway, Al Jarreau and Ramsey Lewis. A little later in the month, August 22 through 24, we have the Long Beach BBQ Festival featuring the best BBQ in town, all you can eat and drink, as well as music and dancing. This is a family friendly event, so be sure to bring the kids, 12 and under are free!

As we approach the middle of August, we can feel summer coming to an end as our kids head back to school and the weather starts cooling down. But while it's still summer, let's see what Stockton's got in store for us! From August 22-31, 2014 it's the city-wide Stockton Beer Week, featuring locally owned breweries, bars, pubs and restaurants hosting beer tastings and beer dinners. It's a great time to be outdoors, spend quality time with friends and family and enjoy this near perfect weather! And always a friendly reminder, "please drink responsibly." Hold on... the fun doesn't stop there! In addition to the festivities of Stockton Beer Week, on August 23rd the Breadfruit Tree Restaurant will celebrate is 19th annual "Reggae on the Delta." With live salsa, cumbia, latin jazz and of course reggae music, you are sure to dance the night away! With all the events and entertainment, it's hard to stay at home and even harder to think about a potential burglary.
