Local businesses and organizations sponsor a safe trick or treat setting with over 35 stations all over the grounds of the museum to support a fundraiser for the Kern County Museum. This event is for children ages 3-12 years old and you should grab your tickets soon as this annual event does sell out. If you are looking for a wicked attraction to check out this season, Scream in the Dark Haunted House is the place to be in Bakersfield. Experience two mazes for only $15! This spooky attraction is not for the faint of heart!

October has arrived in the City of Anaheim. Fall alway brings a ton of fun festivities and events to enjoy. In 1983, they started Brink's Home Security and became a force to be reckoned with in the home security market. Sacramento never falls short when it comes to events. There is always something fun and exciting going on. October 10-12, Sacramento is hosting its second annual Sactoberfest. Bridge District of West Sacramento, this is an event the whole family can enjoy. There will be good ol' German food, beer, full carnival for the kids, entertainment, live bands, etc. Plus, you get one free beer with your ticket purchase! Also going on at the same time is the Sacramento Horror Film Festival. On Sunday, October 5, come out to Sunday On Main Open Streets (SOMOS), Santa Ana's first Ciclovia- a fun community event where the streets are open and car free and patrons run, bike or walk the three mile route.   For the foodies, Savor Santa Ana will be held on Thursday, October, 16 from 5:30 P.M. 9:00 PM. Come out to explore Downtown Santa Ana's culinary and arts district. Santa Ana Zoo at Prentice Park will be offering Santa Ana residents free admission on Sunday, October 19, 2014 from 10:00 A.M. to 4PM. October 4-November 2, Discovery Club Presents : Spooky Science. "Giant bugs, creepy crawlers and friendly spooks are all making their way to Discovery Cube for Spooky Science this October." Your children will thank you for making it to this seasonal event. 

September has come and is almost gone! Those of us with kids, have probably sent them off to school and have some extra free time on our hands. However, even though your home may seem a little quieter, summer isn't over quite yet and families still want to enjoy every bit of sun they can get. Those of us familiar with San Jose, know that there is always excitement and events to enjoy in every little corner. One of the most popular places I'm sure most of us know of is Santana Row! Such a lively atmosphere, with live bands performing on weekends and not to mention, fine dining and fine shopping! Music, food, retail therapy all in the same place? Definite YES. As a matter of fact, to wrap summer up, Santana Row is having the 21st Amendment Brewery Event at Cielo. Cielo is a seasonal roof-top terrace bar on Santana Row, where on September 30th you can enjoy craft brews and small bites. In addition to this event, there are tons of other things you can do in San Jose to end the summer on a great note! With the few warm and beautiful days we have left, let's enjoy them! 

We are midway through September and the fall season us upon the City of Los Angeles. The official first day of fall is September 22, 2014. If you haven't already made it out to the Los Angeles County Fair, now is the time! Remember the fair wraps up on September 28th. You still have a few more days to enjoy the festivities and of course some classic fair food! September 20, 2014 kicks off the 6th annual LA Brewers Beer Week, an event any beer enthusiast in the area might like to check out! September 20th will be the start of a  weeks worth of events hosted by breweries throughout the City of Los Angeles. If do you decide to attend this event, please  make sure you make arrangements to get home safe and sound!  If a tasty meal is more up your alley, the Galbani Cheese Italian Feast of San Gennaro Los Angeles, which was founded by celebrities-Jimmy Kimmel and Adam Carolla 12 years ago, will take place on September 26-28 in Hollywood. Italian food from local eateries, live music and rides for the kids? Who could turn that down? Come out and experience Italian and Italian American culture at its finest!
