After our home was robbed in mid-September 2016, we contacted the best YELP referral we could find. California Security Pro had many 5 star ratings, and Kyle Madison's name was mentioned in many of the reviews. So we called and spoke with Kyle directly. He was great! We made an appointment for him to come and take a look at our home. He made suggestions and gave us a very fair quote. He also gave us ADT signs for the front yard, and stickers for the windows.
Within a couple of days his installer came to install the sensors in our home. The package included the remote fob, which is an easy way to arm and disarm the home. Additionally, they have an app for your phone so you can arm/disarm, and check the status of your home remotely. We feel so much safer after installing the ADT system. Our neighbor also used Kyle's ADT service from our recommendation, and she's very happy too.
Kyle Madison was very professional and knowledgable, and we highly recommend him and his company for your security needs.

He also got our installation appointment scheduled pretty quickly. The day of the installation, William did a great job. We were traumatized after a break-in and decided that it was time to get serious about security.Larry came within one hour of our call, which was at 8:30pm. He was conscientious, pleasant, efficient, knowledgeable, professional, and not pushy in any way. It felt like a consultation, not a sales call, and the system we selected felt like the perfect fit. (So happy that we could get an alarm system that was mobile-enabled, by the way).
The installation was scheduled within one business day, and was also a great experience.
We feel so much safer in our home. The Bay Area sadly has the highest property theft rate in the country. I wouldn't look at any other dealer.

Larry took the time explain all about ADT security pro system and make sure we understand what we need. He is very honest and very professional. Installation schedule was on time, he sent the best guy name Pat, he did a wonderful job on it. My parent and wife love it.

Earlier this year I needed to activate an alarm system. I did my research and called a few places that had sent me coupons in the mail. California security pro hadn't mailed me anything, but I called them anyway because they were the only ones with good yelp reviews. Angel was the sales representative who came out. He was very nice, honest, and professional. He assessed my needs fairly, gave me options, and didn't upsell me (I have a landline, no need for pulse). When he saw the other offers I got in the mail, he matched them and then beat them by adding a glass sensor. He was knowledgeable about permit requirements in my city, and even asked me if I have AAA (I do!) for an extra discount on the monthly fee.
Instead of pressuring me to close the deal on the spot, he left me a written copy of the contract so I could discuss it with my partner before signing. Just really honest! Daniel, the technician who installed my system, was friendly and helpful. He even took my call a month later when I had a question about the DSC system they installed. He checked with other technicians, and then called me back to answer my question. Great company!

Having had a negative experience with a competitor, we were leery of the whole security business. Dorelle was incredibly responsive, friendly, and really took her time explaining what she recommended and why. It's clear that she's passionate about home security, and ensuring that her customers are EXTREMELY well taken care of.
The positive experience continued when Pat came to install our system. Never have I met a more professional, patient, and knowledgeable installer. In all cases he went above and beyond, and truly made us feel like the system was being installed correctly the first time. He walked us thru using our system and we haven't had any issues sense.

I worked with Tim C. We had a great experience. We needed a quick turn around on installation to meet our inspection deadline for a remodel, Tim had the installers come out within 2 days and took the time to get us scheduled even though we called while he was out to dinner. Andrew M. was our installer. He was very polite, arrived on time, and was very patient with us to ensure the results met our expectations. I really appreciated Andrew's willingness to find the right answer by using all of the resources at his disposal. He performed very neat work. I would definitely recommend these guys and I hope Andrew will be our installer for the cameras we plan to add in a few weeks.

Kyle showed up for my appointment on time and with all the information I needed. My husband and I have been discussing getting an alarm for over a year now, but I always hesitated because the reviews for most dealers are really bad and we wanted to avoid that kind of experience. Kyle was a no pressure, very detailed and really nice person. He explained every little detail, didn't gouge me with pricing even when I decided we wanted a whopping 12 sensors and a motion detector. The installer who came was named Pat and he was prompt and neat. I quickly advised him I didn't want wires showing for the main control panel and he did an immaculate job hiding them. He walked me through every feature and help me set up the app on my phone, which is amazing because it works with your fingerprint. We have had the alarm for over a week now and the adjustment period honestly only lasted about a day and we couldn't be happier or feel safer. I sleep better, I feel protected, we've had no false alarms, everything just works as expected and I'm so glad I decided to do this. I'm super impressed by this company that still values customer service and knows how to treat people in a time when those values are hard to come by.

"Otis and Angel were awesome."
Otis J. Is the man! This company really sticks to what they advertise . With so many different ADT dealers it's hard to choose one. I decided to give them a call and I decided to go with Otis & his team because of their professional approach. Not only was he able to come out to my house the same day, he also was able to get me installed the next day. After calling a few different 800 numbers I realized that most of them don't care about anything but making a sale.
I didn't get this feeling from these guys. He went over all the options available and he didn't seem pushy when he was done with his presentation. I told him that I had recently purchased a home and I didn't have extra cash. He gave me very fair & competitive pricing. I decided to go the ADT Pulse route and be able to arm and disarm my system remotely from my smart phone. I also purchased a Ring doorbell for my front door. The tech installed it and I just need my internet up so I can connect it to my wifi. I've had the system for a couple of weeks and so far it's been a GREAT EXPERIENCE ! I will update my review as time goes by. Thank you ADT & Otis.

It is rare to find the level of customer service that I experienced with Brandon Tomas of California Security Pro. From the friendly, well-timed note he left in the mail box of my new home (and hence earned the first call from me when I started shopping for one), to the careful, attentive, and friendly nature of his visit for the quote, to arranging installation with William (who was fabulous as well!), to even taking my frantic call when I misplaced my fob the next day. Brandon also met the best price I could find elsewhere. An exceptional experience!

Just recently purchased our house this month we contacted Shane Mendez and he provided spectacular service for us. He went above and beyond to help us get exactly what we want. I originally went to impulse the girl May offered me 7 devices total for my house and she wanted to charge me an additional 500 for the other device ( not to mention this is just the device for Windows not even the motion sensor ) my husband says she was ripping us off she gave us the worst experiment ever . Even after the contract with her was close she was sending people out to my house trying to set up the alarm without my notice .
Thank God I was referred to shane. Shane took care of all my needs. Please everyone save yourself time and do not go to impulse. Impulse is another company with adt but they will try to dig every bit of you not to mentiom they will scam you!!! Please please save yourself time and call Shane with Capital Security Pro he will not let you down. Shane treated us as if we were his own family got us the best deal . Words can't express how much Shane has helped us after going through hell with the other company impulse. Yelp Review These guys are extremely customer focused. I was paying $25 a month for monitoring services for a 20 year old alarm system that was tied into my home phone. We dumped our home phones because they are just a waste of money and only use our cell phones these days so the old alarm system didn't work anymore. The old alarm company wanted $700 to put a new cellular pad in the house and it had nowhere near the bells and whistles I get with ADT.
I now have the $59 a month service from ADT and they used all my old door and window detectors which is a very large number that are hardwired in so that is great. Kyle, my sales rep explained all of this to me and he was great through the whole process. Pat, the installer came by today to install the system - he was awesome - knows his stuff inside and out, was pleasant, and efficient. For the $99 I upgraded to cellular, got a motion detector, a camera, another wireless detector for the wine cellar, a lamp switch, and the alarm can be armed and disarmed from one of 4 places:
1) The downstairs keypad
2) The upstairs keypad
3) A key fob - this is great for walking the dog - go out the back door and arm the whole house with a press of a button
4) My cellphone - the ADT Pulse App from the App Store works great. I can see what is going on on the camera, arm the house from NY if I want, set up a vacation schedule so the lamp goes on and off at certain times while I am on vacation.
I needed a new system anyway, and if I think about some of the things we spend money on, an extra $35 a month for great safety, piece of mind, convenience, flexibility, and state of the art technology was an easy decision for me.
ADT has good technology but the real difference maker here is California Security Pro. These things can get complicated and having a great dealer that is first class from the sale through to the install deserves a review like this . Not easily impressed but was today.

When I called ADT, I spoke directly with a real live person who got me an appointment the same day and after 6p, so that my husband wouldn't have to miss work. Bill Wood arrived right on time, and spent over two hours with us listening to what happened during the burglary, asking us what we wanted and explaining what he could do. Truly professional and he arranged for our system to be installed right away. ADT has some pretty trick systems for a competitive price. Certainly not the lowest price in town but, like they say, you get what you pay for. The installer Patrick was also a great guy. He really listened to what we wanted. Gave great advice about where to put things and took his time explaining the system to us so we felt comfortable with it. Best of all, both Bill and Patrick gave us their direct cell phone numbers to call them if we have any problems. So now we're breathing much easier in our very secure home with the added (entertaining) bonus that we're able to see what our dog does while we're at work.

If you are looking for a home security system, please call California Security Pro. I originally was going to install a do-it-yourself system but did not feel secure enough with me being the only one monitoring my home. I checked out all of the different companies and California Security Pro seemed to be the most consistent and reliable and they are an ADT authorized dealer, plus they are close to my home and had the highest Yelp reviews. I can now see why their reviews are high. Brad Lorentzen, their area representative, showed up on time and took the time to show me all of the different system packages and features that the ADT system offers. He also spent a lot of time assessing my home and giving me many tips on how to secure my home in other ways in addition to a security system. Once I decided on which package I wanted to go with, it was easy to set up a date and time for installation. They work really hard to accommodate you and work around your schedule. The installer, Micah, was very knowledgeable about the system and was very personable and patient in showing me how to operate it. With my system I can activate and disarm from my cell phone. It is so easy to operate and I now once again feel safe in my home. I am extremely pleased with my security system and highly recommend calling California Security Pro. You won't be disappointed.

He called before he arrived, was neat and very professional with all the work he did. He showed us how to use the system and we felt confident that we knew what we were doing. We had a 48 hour play period where we could use the system and play with it so that we can became familiar with how it worked before it went live with the monitoring program. I would recommend this. The ADT Pulse feature allows you to add this to your smart phone so you can monitor as well as arm and disarm the system vs the keypad nice feature. Brandon Thomas was the rep that called on us and he is a pro! I would highly recommend him and he is a great guy. ADT is lucky to have him. He sold us on the program, the features and benefits, and matched the prices of the equipment from other companies as long as you have it in writing. Look for coupons in the mail or email so that you can get the best prices and packages of features and options as this allows him to give you the best discounts. The security panel does require a 110V connection so you may lose one of your outlets to power the unit. California Security Pro's really impressed me. I was always one of those people who thought alarm systems were a little much but after having it the last few days I have felt more at peace and so does the wife when leaving the home. Being able to control everything from either the keypad, remote, or phone is so convenient and I love being able to receive updates and notifications. Shane originally helped us by setting up the appointment and going over all the various plans and getting us set up, we never felt that we "had" to sign up, in fact the more we talked the more comfortable we were with the idea. After we set it up they sent the documentation over promptly to sign and even let us know that our city required a permit (I did not know this or expect CSP to tell us!) When the day of the install came our installer was Jeremy, he called ahead to let us know he was on his way and gave us an ETA and sure enough there we was when that time came around. He was very well spoken and dressed professionally. We walked through the house identifying areas for the keypad/sensors and old alarm system. He installed the alarm and removed the old equipment within an hour. After he went over how to use the pad and all the cool features and gave us his contact information if we ever needed anything more. I can say I am really please with my experience so far, and like I said before having an alarm system really does help me sleep better and gives me peace of mind when I am away.Thanks Shane, Jeremy and California Security Pros!

After a lot of activity in Danville, we decided to get an alarm. Where do you start? I knew we wanted to be monitored, but had no idea what the cost might be or how to go about it smartly. Our neighborhood has a website we all post info on. I saw that ADT in San Ramon (California Security Pro) was highly recommended with a discount. We had them come out and Joe Abeyta was very professional. He exceeded our expectations, and sold us exacted what we needed, there was no up-sell or pushy constraints. There were good suggestions made regarding security in general, and we are very happy with the service. Joe juggled his schedule to accommodate my urgent need, and Pat Amtrone was our installer. Pat Came the very next day to install, which was fantastic! Even after a full day, Pat took the time to show me how to use the alarm, and helped me set it up on my phone, and my husband's phone. Installation was timely and went smoothly. The technician (Hector) knew his stuff and did a good job explaining the system and how to operate it. The package I bought included a limited number of sensors and detectors, so I purchased more and was given a discount (nice). I had a false alarm the first or second night which was not good. Called CSP and they sent Hector the next day - good responsiveness all the way around. Hector replaced and moved one of the sensors. Had another false alarm incident (shouldn't happen since there's a sensor in the cracked open position), so I have to close the window all the way. Not ideal but workable. Not necessarily CSP, seems it's the equipment (sensor). Overall though, the system seems to be working as it should. The iPhone app (ADT's app not CA Security Pro's) works at times. I've had to delete the app and reinstall and sometimes the status is inaccurate. The app would be great if it worked right.

With my input, we designed a system (ADT Pulse) that works for us. Installer was experienced and explained the operation enough times so I got it. Then left his cell number for any more questions. And they made appointments that fit my schedule, not theirs. I recommend them to anyone wanting a security system, has multiple adults coming and going, and is not dependent on sce, phone lines, or wifi.

STELLAR SECURITY SERVICEThe whole experience with CSP was fantastic. Our sales person (Grant) was amazing and our installer Danny truly worked magic on the cameras and wiring. I would recommend the service to anyone.
Excellent and efficient service with all questions answered.The sales rep was efficient and covered all equipment to be installed. He took time to go over the total package we wanted and also made suggestions for our individual safety like the motion detector and broken glass alarm. The total package we purchased was under $50.00 a month. We are completely satisfied with the quick installation the next day. Less than two hours. Both the sales rep and the installer went over the use and functions of the wall mounted control box and allowed us to practice the use of each button. Example: home and away buttons. The salesperson (Kyle Madison) was responsive to our needs, went along fully with our requests (didn't try to sell anything extra), made a very good proposal. The installer (Micah) was also excellent, did the work efficiently. The installation was a replacement for an older system already installed. The installer was able to isolate a defective sensor and suggest a reasonable work-around. We would definitely recommend this company.

He said he knew he could give me the best offer and whenever I was ready he would make it work. Everything he said I would get I got, there was no bait and switch or false promises. The installation went without a hitch, they explained everything to me and made sure I was comfortable with the system before they left. Overall Great service. You can trust them to get it done right the first time.
