It is estimated that 11% of children ages 5-14 spend one or more hours at home alone after school each day. The historic Kellogg House in Santa Ana will be hosting a Holly Berry Tea on Saturday, December 6, 2014 from 11:00- 2:00 PM and the Silver Bell Tea on Sunday, December 7, 2014 at 11:30 AM. These Victorian tea parties will be hosted by the Victorian Tea Society who will be dressed in period attire. The house will be decorated for the holiday season and there will be tasty treats to enjoy and fine teas to sip. The OC Central Holiday Food Swap --Holiday Edition will be held on December 14, 2014 from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM. For this event you would bring something you made, grew of foraged for yourself (for example:pickles, preserves, baked goods, honey, granola, pasta, fruits, vegetables, herbs, spices) to swap and enjoy with other participants. Although this is a free event, there is a cap on the number of swappers who may enter, so if you are interested in participating be sure to register early.
