These guys are extremely customer focused. I was paying $25 a month for monitoring services for a 20 year old alarm system that was tied into my home phone. We dumped our home phones because they are just a waste of money and only use our cell phones these days so the old alarm system didn't work anymore. The old alarm company wanted $700 to put a new cellular pad in the house and it had nowhere near the bells and whistles I get with ADT.
I now have the $59 a month service from ADT and they used all my old door and window detectors which is a very large number that are hardwired in so that is great. Kyle, my sales rep explained all of this to me and he was great through the whole process. Pat, the installer came by today to install the system - he was awesome - knows his stuff inside and out, was pleasant, and efficient. For the $99 I upgraded to cellular, got a motion detector, a camera, another wireless detector for the wine cellar, a lamp switch, and the alarm can be armed and disarmed from one of 4 places:
1) The downstairs keypad
2) The upstairs keypad
3) A key fob - this is great for walking the dog - go out the back door and arm the whole house with a press of a button
4) My cellphone - the ADT Pulse App from the App Store works great. I can see what is going on on the camera, arm the house from NY if I want, set up a vacation schedule so the lamp goes on and off at certain times while I am on vacation.
I needed a new system anyway, and if I think about some of the things we spend money on, an extra $35 a month for great safety, piece of mind, convenience, flexibility, and state of the art technology was an easy decision for me.
ADT has good technology but the real difference maker here is California Security Pro. These things can get complicated and having a great dealer that is first class from the sale through to the install deserves a review like this . Not easily impressed but was today.

"Feel a lot safer."We were referred by a friend and within a few days Otis came out and took his time in explaining why a home security system is important, the different options offered and broke down how the sensors would be setup. After a few hours we were confident enough in purchasing a system for our home. If we had the time we would have had it installed the next day or during the week. But the following Saturday their technician, Christian, came by set up the system and showed us how to use it. He was gone in a flash. It was that easy. Does the system work? Fortunately we haven't had a real test but within 15 minutes of Christian leaving, LAPD came by because they received the signal that the alarm went off. We use the alarm each and every time we leave the house. We sleep much more comfortable and feel a lot safer. Thanks guys!!

We suffered a brake in on our rental unit in the Sivlerlake area of Los Angeles. My tenant was shooken up. We called California Security Pro and I spoke to Jerrett who was professional and was able to schedule an install with in 72 hours. Daniel came to do the install of the equipment and he was on time (If not early), professional, and got right down to installation. When it came time to teaching us about the alarm system, Daniel was patient and had no problem repeating info several times. Daniel gave me his contact info and stated if I needed anything to call. The next day I got a follow up call from Jerrett who was checking in and wanted to know how the install went. The customer service andprofessionalism to be applauded I have another security system in my home.......which shall remain nameless..... and the custormer service from this company does not reach ADT's. If you are considering ATD go with California Security Pro you wont be disappointed

"Very profressional, extremely pleased with the ADT-Pulse app."
To be frank, we were super leery about utilizing an ADT security system after reviewing many internet comments. We had a utilized a fantastic hard-wired system from a great boutique security company in our previous home, but the installation was easily over $1k higher than the ADT system than the California Security Pro recommended. Financial considerations prevailed. Grant Fecher was the very profressional sales representative that arrived for his appointment on time and offered us good solid advice without the "hard-sell." He reviewed the many technical options and pricing tiers clearly and precisely. Our technician Daniel Zartner was also extremely professional, efficient, and friendly. The installation went smoothly without a hitch, and the system integrated with the home without any glaring design obtrusions/obstructions. The California Security Pro team followed through several times after the installation to make sure we were happy. Lastly, we are extremely pleased with the ADT-Pulse app. You get to design your home layout and monitor every access point via your mobile device. Highly recommended.

I knew I wanted to have a security system at our house. I just needed to know who to go to. Together with Ana and Angie, we were able to work on a package deal. The system was installed the next day after we signed all the paper work, so I did not want to write a yelp review until the installation was completed by the technician. After everything is ready to go, I give thumbs up to the sales person Ana Bobadilla and her partner in crime Angie for their professionalism, knowledge of the product they are selling, and being very nice at the same time. Just had my alarm system installed by Daniel. He was very professional and very nice as well. He knew what he was doing. He cleaned up afterwards. He managed to make the whole process as smooth as it can be. The sales people, Evan and Ana were equally terrific. They came to my house at the right time. I had called ADT before and asked about the installation but couldn't make up my mind. With them coming to my doorstep and giving me a good deal made it easy for me to decide. So far it was a great experience with the sales and installation. I would recommend ADT anytime. In fact, i will try to convince my sister to have one.

Anyway, Ron Loetz Jr was great installing it. I offered coffe he did not take any. Oh well. Anyway,Angel was the sales rep he just walked in here seeing I must have just moved. He was pleasant I did not feel pressured. I always wanted security, and was glad he walked in. Overall so far so good. Have to read the manual though.
